Cowser went 0-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Rays.

Advice: Cowser has seen fairly steady playing time recently, but he's gone just 7-for-56 (.125) with a 4:19 BB:K over his last 18 contests. He was on the bench to begin Saturday's contest but entered as a replacement for Kyle Stowers (wrist). Left field and center field have been up for grabs for the Orioles with Cowser, Cedric Mullins and Austin Hays all struggling to some extent. For the season, Cowser is slashing .229/.325/.417 with seven home runs, four steals, 26 RBI and 26 runs scored over 203 plate appearances. Pending the promotion of an outfielder from Triple-A Norfolk, Cowser should continue to play regularly versus right-handed pitchers at a minimum, though he hasn't hit well enough to maintain an everyday role. • Steals 34th bag in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz reached on a single in the fifth and proceeded to swipe his MLB-leading 34th bag. After going six straight games without a steal, he now has a swipe in back-to-back games as he continues his torrid pace on the basepaths. The 22-year-old leads MLB with 87 strikeouts but he continues to make up for it with great counting stats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:36 pm

    • Blasts third homer, steals base
Friedl went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Friedl drove in three of the Reds' four runs on a two-run homer off Ben Brown in the third and an RBI groundout in the fifth. Friedl reached base again on a walk in the eighth and added his fifth stolen base of the season. The 28-year-old has struggled to stay healthy this season, but he's now started in 10 straight games since his latest IL stint. The center fielder has three homers, 13 RBI and five stolen bases in just 16 games this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:25 pm
    • Drives offense in big win
Bichette went 2-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's 7-0 win over the A's.

Advice: The shortstop is heating up again, collecting four doubles among his seven hits over the last six games. Bichette's sluggish start to the season is fading in the rearview mirror -- over his last 24 contests, he's batting .302 (29-for-96) with two homers, eight doubles, eight runs and 14 RBI. • Set for MLB debut
Amador will be recalled from Double-A Hartford on Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: With Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) on his way to the 10-day injured list, Amador will get his first crack at big-league action. The 21-year-old hasn't made it past Double-A yet and although he owns a .194 batting average this season at Hartford, Amador is 14-for-39 (.359) with six home runs and six stolen bases in his last nine games. He figures to share playing time with Alan Trejo at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:44 pm
    • Drives in go-ahead runs
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in the Royals' 8-4 win over the Mariners on Saturday.

Advice: Pasquantino broke a 3-3 tie with a two-out double in the bottom of the fifth that brought home two. It was the 26-year-old's ninth multi-RBI effort of the season and his third over his last eight games. He now has 43 RBI this season, which is second on the Royals behind Bobby Witt. Pasquantino's been a steady producer in the middle of the Royals' lineup all season and will carry a .244/.317/.433 line into Sunday's game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:15 pm
    • Taking seat Saturday
O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Astros.

Advice: O'Hoppe will give way to Matt Thaiss behind the dish Saturday against Hunter Brown and company. After going hitless in three straight games, O'Hoppe is 4-for-9 with two runs scored in his last three contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:51 pm
    • Adael Amador joins Rockies on taxi squad for now
MLB.com’s Thomas Harding reports Rockies top prospect Adael Amador has joined the club in St. Louis, but no decision has been made whether to officially recall him for his major-league debut.

Advice: Independent journalist Francys Romero reported earlier Saturday that Amador, who has homered six times over his last nine games for Double-A Hartford, was being called up for his debut. That’s on hold at least for the moment with Harding adding that the Rockies are waiting to determine whether Brendan Rodgers hamstring strain is severe enough to require a trip to the injured list. Amador has joined Colorado’s taxi squad, and it’s still possible he could be officially recalled in the coming days. However, for the moment, it doesn’t sound like his debut is imminent. We’ll have additional updates on the developing situation as it unfolds. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:50 pm
    • Joining taxi squad
Amador joined the Rockies in St. Louis on Saturday, though the team has yet to formally call him up from Double-A Hartford, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Amador sports a .666 OPS through 208 plate appearances this season with Hartford, but he has slashed .326/.388/.767 with six homers and 14 RBI while also stealing six bases across his last 10 games. With the Rockies waiting to see if Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) will require a trip to the injured list, Amador will remain on the club's taxi squad for the time being. He would likely return to Double-A if Rodgers is able to make a quick recovery. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:04 pm
