    • Receiving Wednesday off
O'Hoppe is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: O'Hoppe is in the midst of a modest six-game hit streak and has gone 8-for-19 with two homers and three walks during that span, but he'll sit Wednesday after making five straight starts. Matt Thaiss will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Davis Daniel. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago
    • Returning to leadoff spot
Springer is batting leadoff as the designated hitter for Wednesday's game against the Astros, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Springer was moved out of his customary leadoff spot in early May and had a .188/.278/.281 slash line through 71 games this season, but his bat has come alive over the past week. The veteran outfielder is in the midst of a seven-game hit streak and has gone 12-for-24 with two doubles, four homers, 12 RBI and five runs during that span. It remains to be seen if he can translate the hot stretch into a sustained turnaround, but it was apparently enough for manager John Schneider to give Springer another opportunity atop the lineup. • Struggles in non-save scenario
Miller allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk over one inning in a 7-5 win over the Angels on Tuesday. He struck out two.

Advice: Miller had last seen action Friday, so manager Mark Kotsay opted to give his closer some work in what started as a low-leverage scenario. The fireballing right-hander inherited a 7-3 advantage going into the ninth inning and proceeded to retire two of the first three hitters he faced, but he subsequently allowed an RBI double and single to Nolan Schanuel and Luis Rengifo, respectively, to tighten matters up. Miller bore down and retired Taylor Ward on four pitches to put an end to the threat and the game, but not before allowing multiple earned runs for the first time since May 23. Despite the stumble, Miller has contributed a win and 14 saves to fantasy managers this season, accomplishing those marks with the help of a stellar 15.8 K/9. Rotowire.com Today, 9:52 am
    • Takes loss against Guardians
Kopech (2-7) allowed one hit and one earned run across 0.2 innings and took the loss Tuesday against the Guardians.

Advice: Kopech entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied at 6-6. He allowed a leadoff single and threw a wild pitch to put the runner on third base before allowing a sacrifice fly to bring in the game-winning run for Cleveland. Kopech has each of the White Sox's last two saves and should remain the team's primary closer despite a 4.50 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 36 innings this season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:03 am
    • Rockies activate and option prospect Adael Amador
Rockies activated 2B Adael Amador from the 10-day injured list; optioned him to Double-A Hartford.

Advice: Amador got into 10 contests for the Rockies last month before hitting the injured list with a right oblique strain. The 21-year-old second baseman is one of the top prospects in the fantasy landscape, but he’s yet to play above Double-A in the minors. His time is coming in Colorado, but it’s probably not going to be until next year. Rotoworld Today, 3:46 am

    • Delivers three-run homer
Springer went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Astros.

Advice: Springer tagged Spencer Arrighetti for a long ball in the third inning, extending the Blue Jays' lead to 5-0. The outfielder is riding a seven-game hit streak, swatting four homers and driving in 13 runs during that stretch. On the year, Springer has hit nine homers and swiped nine bases in 322 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:54 pm

    • Swats 15th home run
De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, a triple and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

Advice: De La Cruz took Caleb Ferguson yard in the fifth inning, extending the Reds' advantage to 5-0. The speedster also legged out his sixth triple of the season and third in the last five games. De La Cruz has generated multiple hits in seven of his last 10 games, batting .349 with a pair of homers, eight runs and three steals over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm

    • Perfect for 18th save
Diaz picked up the save Tuesday against the Yankees, striking out one across a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Diaz only needed nine pitches to retire Trent Grisham, Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe in order Tuesday. Diaz has fired five consecutive scoreless innings and is up to 18 saves on the season, which is tied for eighth most in baseball. Despite the strong save total, Diaz owns a 4.60 ERA across 31.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm

    • Falters versus Dodgers
Sewald (0-1) took the loss and a blown save Tuesday versus the Dodgers, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out two in two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: Sewald's 15.2-inning scoreless streak came to an end, and he also took his first blown save of the year. He labored in the ninth inning and ended up giving up a game-tying double to Freddie Freeman, who then scored on Teoscar Hernandez's walk-off single. Sewald is now 11-for-12 in save chances while sporting a 1.56 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB through 17.1 innings. He is unlikely to lose the closer job as long as he's with Arizona, though he's on a one-year contract for a struggling team and could be flipped before the July 30 trade deadline.
