Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss MondayLuis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.
Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline. Plays catch from 90 feetOhtani (elbow) played catch from 90 feet Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Advice: Ohtani is throwing from 90 feet for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last September. He continues to progress in his rehab with no issues, and he's certainly shown no ill effects at the plate as a result of his ongoing recovery from the elbow issue. The Dodgers haven't ruled out the possibility of Ohtani playing the outfield at some point in 2024, though that still seems like a long shot. Stress reaction sends Fernando Tatis Jr. to ILPadres placed OF Fernando Tatis Jr. on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 22, with a right femoral stress reaction.

Lands on IL with quad injuryThe Padres placed Tatis on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a femoral stress reaction in his right quadricep.
Advice: Tatis missed the last two games with a triceps injury after being hit in the left arm by a pitch Friday, and he will now be sidelined with a separate quadriceps injury. His stint on the IL would line up with a return in early July, but it's possible the 25-year-old will be held out longer than that -- until perhaps after the All-Star break, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Advice: Lindor opened the scoring with his third-inning blast. The shortstop has been showcasing all of his skills in June, going 21-for-76 (.276) with four homers, five steals and 10 RBI over 19 contests this month. Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games. Francisco Lindor homers, swipes bag to lead MetsFrancisco Lindor clobbered a two-run homer and stole a base on Sunday night, helping to lead the Mets to a 5-2 victory over the Cubs in Chicago.
Advice: Lindor opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 378-foot (101.4 mph EV) two-run blast after an eight-pitch battle with Javier Assad in the third inning. He was also hit by a pitch in the fifth inning and swiped second base before getting stranded at third.
