    • Josh Jung (wrist) to take batting practice Tuesday
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy told reporters Josh Jung (wrist) will take batting practice on Tuesday to determine whether he’s ready to return.

Advice: Jung has been dealing with some minor soreness in his surgically-repaired wrist, which isn’t uncommon at this stage of his rehabilitation process. He’ll take batting practice early next week to determine whether he’s ready to return or needs some additional time in the minor leagues. Rotoworld Saturday, 11:37 am

    • Builds up to 66 pitches
Williams (elbow) struck out four and allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks across five innings in his rehab start Friday with Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: Making the fifth start of his rehab assignment, Williams delivered his longest outing yet in terms of both innings and pitches (66, 47 strikes). A decision on Williams' next step hasn't been decided, but the Guardians may want to see him get over the 70-pitch mark with one more rehab start during the upcoming week before he makes his long-awaited return from the 60-day injured list. The young right-hander has been on the shelf all season with elbow discomfort, an injury that stemmed from him making an awkward throw during a weighted-ball workout in spring training. • Aiming for return Monday
Jung (wrist) told reporters Saturday that he believes he could return to the Rangers on Monday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: Jung noted that his wrist still feels stiff when swinging the bat, and that his return is still under discussion. His right wrist was fractured after being hit by a pitch April 1, and he underwent surgery one day later. He began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on June 16 and has gone 4-for-17 with one RBI over four outings. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:59 am

    • Josh Jung (wrist) aiming to return early next week
Josh Jung (wrist) is hoping to return early next week.

Advice: Jung told reporters Saturday that he’ll be back soon, but that decision is ultimately up to Texas’ medical staff. The 26-year-old third baseman has been working his way back from early-April surgery to repair a fractured wrist and figures to be ready to roll at some point in the coming days. It’s possible he’ll be activated prior to Monday’s series opener against Milwaukee, but that’s not official yet. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:39 am

    • Goes deep again
Santander went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's loss to Houston.

Advice: Santander knocked an RBI single in the third inning before capping off Baltimore's seven-run eighth with a two-run shot. He entered June with nine homers and a .712 OPS through 51 games. Since then, he's caught fire; Santander has ripped 11 home runs while producing a 1.090 OPS in 20 June contests. Of those 11 long balls, six have come in his last seven games. Santander is now slashing .237/.309/.515 with 34 extra-base hits and 51 RBI this season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:50 am

    • Jurickson Profar dealing with left knee issue
Jurickson Profar was removed from Friday’s game against the Brewers with left knee patellar tendinitis.

Advice: Profar has been playing through patellar tendinitis in his left knee and appears to have re-aggravated the issue during Friday’s contest against the Brewers. The 31-year-old was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning and there’s wasn’t much of an update on his status following the contest. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a couple days off this weekend to rest and recover, so fantasy managers should be prepared. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:10 am
    • Adds another steal
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The Guardians did all their damage in the second inning, with Ramirez contributing an RBI single to the seven-run rally. The third baseman has gone 5-for-16 with three steals, three RBI and four runs scored over four games since he returned from the paternity list. Ramirez is at a .271/.331/.521 slash line with 14 steals in 16 attempts, 18 home runs, 65 RBI and 55 runs scored through 70 contests as the engine of the Guardians' offense. • Delivers winning knock
Ward went 2-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Ward put the Angels ahead with an RBI single in the 10th inning and then stole second. The Angels didn't add to their lead, but they were able to hold on. With just two multi-hit efforts in June, Ward has been a bit disappointing after he started the season in good form at the plate. He's slashing .240/.325/.419 with 12 home runs, three steals, 38 RBI and 35 runs scored over 73 contests, but just one of those long balls has been among his three extra-base hits in June. • Taylor Ward drives in game-winner against Dodgers
Taylor Ward stole a base and drove home the game-winning run in the 10th against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ward untied the game with an RBI single in the top of the 10th off Evan Phillips to give the Angels the lead and the (surprising) victory. The stolen base was just the third of the year for the 30-year-old outfielder. After a red-hot start, Ward has come back to earth — something that’s happened a bunch on his career — with a .240/.325/.419 slash over 77 games. Rotoworld Friday, 9:56 pm
