    Advice: Murphy's elbow swelled up significantly immediately following the HBP, though he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. The catcher also said after Tuesday's game that he is confident he'll be able to avoid the injured list and get back to playing within a few days.   • Brandon Lowe homers off a lefty in win
    Brandon Lowe went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBI in a win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

    Advice: Despite the Marlins starting left-hander Jesus Luzardo, the Rays decided to keep Brandon Lowe in the lineup. The 29-year-old rewarded them with a 377-foot blast that left the bat at 108.7 mph for a three-run home run. He later added a two-run double, also off Luzardo, which was hit 107 mph. Lowe has frequently been on the bench against lefties, so the fact that Tampa Bay even chose to start him against Luzardo is one thing, but the fact that it went as well as it did is another.     Nick Castellanos delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning on Tuesday, powering the Phillies to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Brewers.

    Advice: Bell is coming off a solid month of May, where he slashed .311//365/.466 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games. He’s carried that over into June, going 4-for-12 in his first three games of the month. The 31-year-old is a likely trade candidate this summer and could benefit from a change of scenery, especially if he’s going to keep hitting as well as he has been.     Connor Norby went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Norby’s first career homer also marked the first hit of his career. The 23-year-old infielder was called up earlier this week after the Orioles lost Jorge Mateo (concussion) to the injured list. He’s 1-for-7 at the plate through his first two games with two strikeouts, but he’ll have a few more games to prove he’s the man for the job going forward before Mateo is set to return.     Advice: Rutschman drove in the Orioles’ first run of the night in the third inning on an RBI single to plate Colton Cowser and later doubled to drive in Gunnar Henderson in the fifth inning.
