      Jasson Dominguez was placed on the 7-day IL by Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

      Advice: It’s not known why Dominguez was placed on the injured list at this time. The outfielder did miss the first two months of the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, and it’s possible there’s a correlation there.       Dominguez (undisclosed) was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, Conor Foley of YES Network reports.

      Advice: It's unclear at this stage what is ailing the 21-year-old. He was just formally activated from the 60-day injured list by the Yankees earlier this week after a long recovery from Tommy John surgery, and subsequently optioned down to Triple-A. Rotowire.com Today, 9:25 am
       
    • Blasts two homers Saturday
      Martinez went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs, three total RBI and two walks in Saturday's 5-1 win against the Padres.

      Advice: Martinez reached in all five of his plate appearances and registered his first multi-homer game of the season. The veteran slugger has gone deep three times in his past three games and has at least one RBI in six of his past seven contests.     • Win streak snapped in Boston
      Rodon (9-3) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Red Sox.

      Advice: Rodon had posted a quality start in each outing during his seven-game winning streak, but both impressive stretches were snapped Saturday. The Red Sox put up all five runs against Rodon during the first two innings, and the Yankees' offense wasn't able to muster a comeback. The southpaw still has a strong 3.28 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 81:23 K:BB through 85 innings over 15 starts this year.     • Trevor Megill snags 12th save
      Trevor Megill closed out a 3-1 win over the Reds for his 12th save of the season.

      Advice: It wasn’t a flawless inning for Megill, who did allow a walk, a hit, and a run; however, he got the job done. He now has a 2.25 ERA on the season and has been a steadying presence for the Brewers at the end of games. Even though he will lose his job as closer when Devin Williams returns, he’ll remain a valuable reliever for the Brewers and needs to simply be held in fantasy leagues because you’re unlikely to get much trying to trade him away when everybody knows his time accruing saves is coming to a close within the month.     • Secures save Saturday
      Megill notched a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning.

      Advice: A trio of Milwaukee pitchers combined to shut out Cincinnati over eight innings before the ball was handed to Megill for the ninth. The right-hander didn't make things easy, issuing a walk and allowing a run-scoring double before getting his first out, but he was ultimately able to slam the door for the save. Megill has been great in his first venture as a closer this season, going 12-for-13 in save tries while posting a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 20 innings. He appears to have a firm grasp on ninth-inning duties for the Brewers, at least until Devin Williams (back) is able to return from the injured list, potentially in the latter half of July.     • Carlos Rodon gives up five runs in loss to Red Sox
      Carlos Rodon struggled in Saturday night’s loss to the Red Sox, surrendering five runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

      Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw still managed to punch out seven batters on the evening while issuing three free passes. The Red Sox jumped on him in the opening inning, using run-scoring knocks from Tyler O’Neill, Connor Wong and Jaime Westbrook to push three runs across. They added another pair in the second on a two-run double by Rafael Devers. Rodon generated 18 swings and misses on 109 pitches on the night — eight of those on his fastball — while posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he totes an impressive 3.28 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and an 81/23 K/B ratio (85 innings) into a tough matchup against the Braves on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm
       
    • JD Mart homers twice in win over Padres
      J.D. Martinez went 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI in a 5-1 win over the Padres on Saturday.

      Advice: Martinez hit his first home run 391 feet off of Jhony Brito in the fourth inning and then followed that up with a 382-foot shot in the seventh. He now has eight home runs and 26 RBI in 43 games for the Mets so far this season. Given his regular playing time and spot in the middle of the Mets’ order, Martinez carries consistent fantasy value even in his age 36 season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:42 pm
