      Alex Bregman went 0-for-4 as the Astros’ cleanup hitter Wednesday to finish hitless in the series against the Angels.

      Advice: Bregman had three homers in two games against the A’s early last week, prompting the Astros to return him to the cleanup spot, but since then, he’s 4-for-31 with one RBI in eight games. It’s hard to imagine Bregman remaining this bad, but he’s long posted subpar BABIPs and his typically average exit velocity numbers are worse than usual right now.     • Turner accounts for one of two Blue Jays’ hits
      Justin Turner went 1-for-3 with a double in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: Turner ended a seven-game hitless streak in this one, but he and the Jays struggled to get the offense going. Toronto managed just two hits and a walk on the evening while striking out nine times as a team. Turner, who hit .300 through the first month of the season, is hitting a dismal .085 in the month of May, going 4-for-47 at the plate.       Henderson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals.

      Advice: Henderson has homered in four straight games and continues to lead the majors with 16 long balls. The shortstop's sixth-inning blast off Sonny Gray was all the runs the Orioles could muster Monday. Henderson stumbled a bit in the middle of May, but he's quickly returned to form and is now sporting a .271/.351/.610 slash line with 34 RBI, 35 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 45 contests.       Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

      Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game.       Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: Henderson is on a tear with five homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. His blast Sunday was another leadoff homer against Mariners starter George Kirby. Henderson is leading the majors with 15 long balls to go with seven steals, 31 RBI, 34 runs scored, four doubles, four triples and a .270/.348/.598 slash line over 44 contests.
