    • Yields five runs in loss
Gore (6-7) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one over five innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Padres.

Advice: Gore struggled against the team that drafted him, as the Padres put up multiple runs in the first and fifth innings. The southpaw has lost three of his five starts in June, giving up 18 runs (17 earned) over 26.1 innings. He's now at a 3.81 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 99:28 K:BB through 85 innings across 16 starts on the year. Gore is projected to make his next start at home versus the Mets. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago
    • Tyler Anderson goes five in win over A’s
Tyler Anderson allowed three runs over five innings Tuesday in a win over the A’s.

Advice: Anderson struck out two and walked five tonight, but walks and strikeouts simply haven’t meant anything to him this season. He’s posted a hideous 65/46 K/BB ratio while amassing a 2.63 ERA in 94 1/3 innings. The win tonight evened his record at 7-7. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago
    • MacKenzie Gore gives up five runs, loses to Padres
MacKenzie Gore surrendered five runs in five innings Tuesday in a loss to the Padres.

Advice: Gore was lucky not to be tossed at the beginning of this one, as he hit Jurickson Profar in the back leg with a pitch right after warnings were issued because of some thoroughly unnecessary jawing and a benches-clearing incident. Gore’s pitch, though, didn’t seem to be intentional. It did lead to an ejection anyway, as Padres manager Mike Shildt was ejected for taking issue with Gore not being tossed. Gore was a bit of a mess afterwards, walking three and striking out just one in the loss. Still, it’s probably not anything to worry about. Rotoworld Today, 10:13 pm
    • Key role in win
Marte went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: Marte's homer opened the scoring in the first inning and he added a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh to put the Diamondbacks ahead for good. The second baseman had gone just 2-for-16 over his previous four contests before this multi-hit effort. He's been a big contributor throughout the campaign with a .280/.340/.507 slash line, 16 homers, 46 RBI, 51 runs scored and three stolen bases across 76 games. Rotowire.com Today, 10:03 pm

    • Ketel Marte hits two-run homer in Arizona’s win
Ketel Marte hit a two-run homer in the first and singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh as the Diamondbacks edged the Twins 5-4 on Tuesday.

Advice: Marte has 16 homers, which is already the third highest total of his career. He’s going to deserve to be the NL’s starting second baseman in the All-Star Game this year, but since the Padres got away with listing Luis Arraez at second after turning him into a full-time first baseman, there’s still some doubt who will get the nod. • Homers, scores three times in loss
Henderson went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in a 10-8 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Henderson hit a two-run home run in the first inning then walked and scored in the third. He later singled and scored in the seventh frame and added another walk in the eighth. Henderson registered his seventh-multi hit game in June and is now slashing .333/.436/.667 with seven home runs and 14 RBI this month. On the season, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .282/.383/.607 with 25 homers, 55 RBI, 69 runs scored and 13 steals over 305 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 8:27 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson socks 25th homer in O’s loss
Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Henderson took Guardians lefty Logan Allen deep in the opening frame for his 25th big fly of the season as part of another multi-hit performance. The 22-year-old franchise cornerstone has lived up to fantasy managers’ lofty expectations entering the year by delivering a robust .282/.383/.607 triple-slash line with 69 runs scored, 25 homers, 55 RBI and 13 steals over 78 contests. • Daulton Varsho remains out Tuesday with back issue
Daulton Varsho (back) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Varsho has been held out of Toronto’s lineup for three consecutive games due to back tightness, but appears to be available off the bench for now. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but the Blue Jays clearly don’t want to push it and potentially make things worse. He’s day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 1:29 pm

    • On bench again
Varsho (back) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Varsho will be out of the starting nine for the third straight game after tweaking his back Saturday. Kevin Kiermaier will make another start in center field and bat ninth Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:25 pm
