    • Getting day off
Naylor is out of the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Red Sox.

Advice: Naylor started each of the previous three games at catcher for the Guardians, but he'll be given some rest for the Thursday afternoon tilt. David Fry will draw the start at catcher for Cleveland. Rotowire.com Today, 7:26 am

    • Homers in loss
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Reynolds got the Pirates on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot off Bryse Wilson, Pittsburgh's only two runs in the eventual defeat. It's the third homer of the year for Reynolds and his first extra-base hit in 13 games. The switch-hitting outfielder is now slashing .263/.386/.411 with 15 RBI, nine runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 25 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am

    • Performance turning around
Diaz went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Diaz got off to a slow start to the season, but he now has at least one hit in seven of his last eight starts. In that span, he also has four multi-hit performances and a .314 batting average. Counting stats haven't followed Diaz's turnaround at the plate, but as the locked-in leadoff hitter, that should also change as the season progresses. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 am
    • Works two frames for hold
Adam struck out two across two scoreless innings without allowing a baserunner to earn a hold Wednesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Adam was the presumed closer with Pete Fairbanks (arm) sidelined, but he instead was used in the highest-leverage spot. He entered the game in the seventh inning to face the top of the Tigers' order and protect a two-run lead. Adam was very effective and picked up his seventh hold of the campaign, but Garrett Cleavinger was ultimately the reliever to pick up the save. Rotowire.com Today, 6:57 am
    • Contributes solo shot
Altuve went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Wednesday in a loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Altuve launched a solo blast off closer Hector Neris in the ninth inning to bring the Astros to within a run, but the team ultimately fell short. The long ball was Altuve's sixth of the season, though he has only eight RBI. The star second baseman is otherwise having a fantastic campaign, slashing .350/.412/.602 with 17 runs and three stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:15 pm

    • Ha-Seong Kim drives in two runs against Rockies
Ha-Seong Kim went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Wednesday in a 5-2 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Kim put the Padres on the board early with a two-run double in the first inning. He’d come around to score on a base hit as San Diego put four runs up in the opening frame. He added a base hit in the sixth for his second hit of the game. The 28-year-old infielder is slashing .240/.345/.417 with three homers, 16 runs scored, 15 RBI, and seven steals across 114 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:12 pm

    • Jose Altuve goes deep in Astros’ loss to Cubs
Jose Altuve belted a solo homer on Wednesday in the Astros’ loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Altuve took former teammate Héctor Neris deep in the ninth inning for his sixth round-tripper of the season. It was the first time he’s left the yard since a two-homer outburst back on April 14. The veteran second baseman has been one of the most impactful five-category contributors in the entire fantasy landscape this season, batting .350 (36-for-103) with 17 runs scored, six homers, eight RBI and three steals through 25 games. • Zack Gelof (oblique) likely heading to 10-day IL
Athletics’ manager Mark Kotsay told reporters after Wednesday’s game that Zack Gelof was diagnosed with a left oblique strain and will likely head to the injured list.

Advice: That’s a tough break for the Athletics and for fantasy managers who were relying on the dynamic 24-year-old second baseman. No word yet on how much time he may miss, but oblique injuries usually take at least a couple of weeks to recover and could be even longer depending on the severity. Expect Abraham Toro to see additional run at second base for as long as Gelof is sidelined. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:44 pm

    • Michael Harris II delivers walk-off hit vs. Marlins
Michael Harris II delivered a game-winning double in the 10th inning on Wednesday, lifting the Braves to a 4-3 walk-off victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Harris was the difference-maker for Atlanta’s lineup in a low-scoring extra-inning marathon at Truist Park, finishing a three-hit performance with a game-ending extra-base hit to left-center field off Marlins lefty stopper Tanner Scott. The 23-year-old fantasy stalwart is batting .330 (32-for-97) with 15 runs scored, three homers, 12 RBI and five steals through 23 games. It would be extremely surprising if the Braves opted to move him back towards the bottom of the lineup once Ozzie Albies is ready to return in a few days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm
