• Final rehab start Wednesday
Snell (groin) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the Giants rotation after their road trip that ends July 7, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Snell threw three innings in a start with Sacramento on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old will require one more rehab appearance before being reinstated and is on track to make a start with San Francisco prior to the All-Star break. Snell owns a 9.51 ERA across 23.2 innings with the Giants this season. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

  • Kyle Harrison unlikely to require rehab start
Kyle Harrison (ankle) is not expected to require a minor league rehab start before rejoining the Giants’ rotation.

Advice: Harrison threw a bullpen session without issue on Friday. He’ll repeat the process again in a few days and if all goes well it sounds like he’ll be cleared to rejoin the Giants’ rotation. The 22-year-old hurler holds a 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 68/22 K/BB ratio over 77 1/3 innings through his first 14 starts on the season. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

  • Dealing with knee soreness
Hays is dealing with swelling and soreness in his knee, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Advice: Hays jammed his knee while making a play in the outfield Tuesday and hasn't appeared in a game since. He could be available off the bench Saturday, but there's a chance the Orioles wait until his knee has fully recovered before putting him back in a game. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

  • Austin Hays sits due to soreness in right knee
Austin Hays was held out of the Orioles’ starting lineup once again on Saturday due to soreness and swelling in his right knee.

Advice: Hays jammed his knee near the wall while patrolling the outfield earlier in the week, which is the reason that he has been held out of action since Tuesday. There’s a chance that he could be available off the O’s bench during Saturday night’s tilt against the Rangers. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
