    • Homers, steals two bases in win
Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two steals in a 7-3 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Duran hit a solo home run off Kevin Gausman in the fifth inning then added an RBI single and a steal in the sixth. He later stole another base after reaching on a fielder's choice in the eighth. Duran extended his hitting streak to 10 games and has hit .356 with three homers and eight steals in June. On the season, he is hitting .277 with six home runs and 19 steals hitting leadoff for the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:54 pm
    • Taj Bradley delivers quality start against Twins
Taj Bradley delivered a quality start in a no-decision against the Twins on Wednesday night, allowing just two runs on seven hits over six strong frames.

Advice: The 23-year-old right-hander punched out three batters in the ballgame while issuing a pair of free passes. The Twins threatened in the third inning and pushed a run across as Trevor Larnach grounded into a double play. They tacked on another run in the sixth inning as Royce Lewis belted a solo home run. Bradley got nine whiffs on 104 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 21 percent. He’ll carry a 4.06 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53/14 K/BB ratio (44 1/3 innings) into Monday’s tilt against the Mariners. • Kirby Yates secures 11th save
Kirby Yates pitched a clean ninth inning with a strike out in a win over the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Yates worked a pain-free ninth after struggling on Tuesday against this same Mets lineup in a tie game. He’s been one of the best closers in the league since earning the role in April with a sterling 1.03 ERA and 0.91 WHIP. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:53 pm

    • Clayton Kershaw goes three in first rehab start
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) went three innings in his first minor league rehab start at High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday night.

Advice: The 36-year-old southpaw threw 36 pitches on the night — 26 of them for strikes — while hitting 90 mph on his fastball. Kershaw surrendered one run on two hits and a walk while punching out five in the ballgame. He’ll continue to work every fifth day or so in the minor leagues to build up his stamina with a goal of rejoining the Dodgers’ rotation at some point around the All-Star break. • Jarren Duran homers, steals two bags
Jarren Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two stolen bases against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Duran’s long ball gave the Red Sox a lead and they wouldn’t let go as he continued his do-it-all season in this one. He’s pacing for about 15 homers, 40 steals, 100 runs scored, and 70 RBI in what would be a phenomenal year for the young outfielder. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm
    • Dodgers officially place Walker Buehler on IL
Dodgers placed RHP Walker Buehler on the 15-day injured list with right hip inflammation.

Advice: Buehler was hit in the hip by a comebacker during Thursday’s bloodbath at Coors Field, so it gives the Dodgers a viable reason to stash him on the injured list for a couple of weeks while he works through some of his struggles. Buehler has pitched to a woeful 5.84 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP over 37 innings in eight starts since returning from the injured list. Bobby Miller was activated from the IL in a corresponding move on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:06 pm

    • Headed to injured list
Manager Dave Roberts said Buehler will be placed on the injured list Wednesday due to hip discomfort, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The right-hander was struck in the hip by a comebacker Tuesday against the Rockies, but he was also battling a hip issue prior to that incident. Buehler surrendered seven runs during Wednesday's outing and has a 5.84 ERA through eight starts this season, and the IL stint will give him a chance to reset amid the struggles. He's without an official timeline for his return but seems likely to be sidelined beyond the 15-day minumum. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:20 pm

    • Goes yard Tuesday
Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 9-8 extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Goldschmidt opened the scoring in the first inning with his homer, though the Marlins quickly answered with a three-run blast from Jesus Sanchez in their half of the frame. Goldschmidt has gone 8-for-29 (.276) with two homers over his last seven contests, and he's been held hitless just twice in 17 games in June. Despite the recent consistency, he's slashing just .230/.303/.360 with nine homers, 29 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 70 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:52 am

    • Perfect for save No. 13
Jansen earned the save Tuesday against Toronto, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jansen has now converted on nine straight save chances and hasn't allowed a hit or walk across his last 2.2 innings of action. He's picked up a save in four straight appearances and is tied for the fifth most saves in the American League. Overall, Jansen owns a 2.70 ERA and a 30:11 K:BB across 23.1 innings.
