    Nick Gordon went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in the Marlins 3-2 win over the Phillies on Saturday.

    Advice: Gordon took Aaron Nola deep for a solo homer in the second inning to put the Marlins on the board. He got on base with a single in the ninth for his second hit of the day.   • Lowe homers in return to lineup Saturday
    Brandon Lowe went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk against the Nationals on Saturday.



    Advice: Lowe’s home run was his sixth of the season. It was certainly good to see him do something productive in his first game back in the Rays’ lineup since breaking his pinkie toe. With Lowe, you have to worry about when the next injury might come. He’s a decent power option in the middle infield as long as he’s playing. Lowe has a .218 average .756 OPS with 23 RBI on the season.

    Ketel Marte went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

    Advice: It’s the ninth consecutive game that Drury has missed due to illness, though he remains on the active roster and has been with the team at the ballpark for each game. Luis Rengifo will slide over and cover second base in this one while Miguel Sano starts at the hot corner and bats cleanup against Reese Olson and the Tigers on Saturday night.     Jonathan India went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored, and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

    Advice: India put the Reds on the board in the third inning with a double to plate Austin Wynns from second base. He then scored on a double by Elly De La Cruz. He later doubled for a second time to drive in one more run in the seventh. The 27-year-old second baseman has had an incredible month, hitting .386 in June.     Advice: Trejo was jettisoned from the 40-man roster Friday to make room for Aaron Schunk, and he'll now look for another opportunity elsewhere after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 28-year-old has slashed just .143/.182/.143 in 67 plate appearances this season, and any offer he receives from another organization would almost certainly come in the form of a minor-league deal.
