• Otto Lopez contributes game-tying hit vs. Brewers
Otto Lopez hit a game-tying single in the ninth inning on Monday in the Marlins’ eventual extra-inning win over the Brewers.

Advice: Lopez came through with a clutch single to right field against Brewers closer Trevor Megill, which allowed Nick Gordon to race around and score easily from second base. The 25-year-old finds himself playing regularly for the Marlins at the moment and has come through with a solid .296/.339/.519 triple-slash line with three homers and two steals in 59 plate appearances so far. • Jacob Young plates two, steals base in victory
Jacob Young went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and also stole a base on Monday in the Nationals’ lopsided win over the Twins.

Advice: Young has come out of nowhere to make an impact for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues with an astounding 15 stolen bases in just 129 plate appearances over 37 contests. The 24-year-old speedster doesn’t offer any over-the-fence pop, but the steals are enough to give him some relevance moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:46 pm

  • d’Arnaud returns with three hits Monday
Travis d’Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: D’Arnaud took a foul ball off the mask in last Friday’s game and subsequently sat out of Saturday and Sunday’s games. He was cleared of a possible concussion and returned to the lineup with a three-hit game. D’Arnaud’s time as Atlanta’s primary catcher might be coming to a close soon as the injured Sean Murphy is nearing a rehab assignment.

  • Bo Bichette goes 4-for-4, doubles three times
Bo Bichette finished 4-for-4 with three doubles against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: The first double should have been an out, but the last two were legit. Those two and the single were all hit at least 105 mph, making this easily Bichette’s best exit-velocity day of the season. It was definitely an encouraging showing, even if it was aided by some meatballs from the White Sox staff. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:39 pm

  • Available to pitch Monday
Astros manager Joe Espada said that Pressly (finger) will be available out of the bullpen Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Pressly has been off limits for a few days while dealing with soreness in a finger on his right hand, but it seems he's fully recovered now. The veteran reliever has struggled this season, collecting a 5.51 ERA and 1.78 WHIP through 16.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:19 pm

  • Back in lineup for second game
D'Arnaud (head) will catch and bat fifth in the second game of Monday's doubleheader versus the Padres.

Advice: D'Arnaud hasn't played since being removed from last Friday's game due to dizziness, but he passed concussion tests and is back in the lineup following a couple days of rest. He has an .836 OPS with five home runs over 36 games with Atlanta this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:50 pm
  • Otto López continues to start for Marlins at 2B
Otto López is starting for the Marlins at second base for the eighth straight game.

Advice: López has earned an everyday role since the Marlins traded Luis Arraez. The 25-year-old is hitting .300/.345/.540 with three home runs and one steal in 22 games. López is striking out just 18 percent of the time and has posted solid batting averages throughout his minor league tenure, so he could be a source of batting average and steals in deep league formats. • Winker hitting 3rd for Nationals on Monday
Jesse Winker is in the lineup and hitting third on Monday against the Twins.

Advice: Winker was shaken up after making a catch the other day, but he will not miss any time. Not only is he in the lineup, but he’s hitting third after mostly hitting seventh or eighth previously. Winker got off to a strong start to the year, but he’s struggled over the last month and is now hitting just .224/.339/.381 with five home runs and five steals. He’s hitting just .143 in 15 games in May and can be dropped in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:32 pm

  • Cleared for rehab assignment
Cavalli (elbow) has been assigned to the Florida Complex League Nationals to begin a rehab assignment, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Working his way back from Tommy John surgery, Cavalli's 30-day rehab clock will begin once he makes his first rehab start. It will be the 25-year-old's first game action since 2022. Cavalli should eventually be an option to join the Nationals' rotation this season, but how soon that will be figures to depend largely on how he looks over the next several weeks.
