      Bradish came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over 2.2 innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: The right-hander wasn't at his sharpest, but he mostly got pecked to death as only one of the hits off him went for extra bases, a triple by Yandy Diaz in the second inning. Bradish got more than enough run support to avoid his first loss of the season, however. He'll take a 3.18 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40:14 K:BB through 28.1 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Toronto. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago
       
    • Struggles with control Saturday
      Steele allowed five runs (one earned) on seven hits and four walks while striking out five batters over five innings in a no-decision against Cincinnati on Saturday.

      Advice: Steele's fantasy stat line wasn't disastrous since only one of the five runs charged to him was earned, but he was far from sharp, especially in terms of control. The southpaw hit a batter in addition to issuing a season-high four walks, and he threw just 58 of 98 pitches for strikes. Steele is usually much better at limiting free passes -- before Saturday, he had issued only seven walks over six starts -- so this was likely just a bump in the road for him.       Yamamoto (6-2) allowed a run on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Yamamoto bounced back from a loss his last time out with a strong performance. He's earned quality starts in four of his last six outings, allowing 13 runs over 37 innings in that span. The rookie right-hander has a 3.32 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 76:14 K:BB over 65 innings across 12 starts this season.     • Steele allows five runs in no-decision
      Justin Steele allowed five runs (one earned) in five innings and got a no-decision in the Cubs’ 7-5 victory over the Reds on Saturday.



      Advice: Steele gave up seven hits, walked four and struck out five. He seemed to be turning a corner with seven shutout innings in his last start, but this was a setback for Steele. Even though most of the runs were unearned, he’s now allowed at least five runs in four of his last five starts. Steele has completed six innings in only two of his seven starts this year. His ERA was mostly spared in this one and now sits at 4.10 for the season, but when you add it all up this isn’t a recipe for winning games right now. The 28-year-old left-hander will look to improve against the Reds on the road next week.

      Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28.       Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, and a walk against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Santander followed Ryan Mountcastle’s homer in the first inning with his own solo blast to extend the lead. He then drew a walk in the third before scoring on a double by Kyle Stowers. Santander added another hit with a single in the fourth. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .218/.300/.440 with ten homers and 30 RBI across 217 plate appearances.       Kyle Bradish allowed five runs with six strikeouts over 2 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Bradish was able to work around a pair of hits in the first inning, but allowed three runs in to score in the second on three singles and a triple. Things fell apart for Bradish in the third. A wild pitch put a runner on before he walked three straight batters to bring a run in. He was replaced with two outs in the inning at 76 pitches. He struck out six. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.18 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 40/14 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings into a start against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Thursday.
