Glasnow (7-5) picked up the win Sunday against Kansas City, allowing three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts across seven scoreless innings.

Advice: Glasnow was exceptional Sunday, striking out at least nine batters for a third straight start and completing his first scoreless start since April 21. He didn't allow an extra-base hit in the outing and got into the win column for the first time in seven starts. Glasnow leads MLB with 125 strikeouts across 93 innings, and his ERA dropped from 3.24 to 3.00 after Sunday's start. The 30-year-old is tentatively scheduled to face the Angels his next time out. • Muncy (oblique) progressing slower than expected
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Saturday that Max Muncy (oblique) is progressing even slower than expected in his recovery.

Advice: Muncy has been shut down from swinging a bat for at least the next week while he continues to fight a nagging oblique strain. There’s still no clear timetable for his potential return and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be anytime soon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:48 pm

    • Collects four more hits
Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's loss to Toronto.

Advice: Kwan has been unstoppable since returning from a hamstring injury May 31, hitting safely in all 11 games while batting a torrid .535 with one home run, six RBI and 11 runs scored. The 26-year-old's hot streak has propelled his average to .398, which would lead the league if he had enough plate appearances to qualify. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:42 pm

    • Could start Wednesday or Thursday
Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that Verlander (neck) could pitch either Wednesday or Thursday against the White Sox in Houston, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada suggested earlier in the day that Verlander could rejoin the rotation for the Chicago series, and Brown's comments help further narrow down a potential return date for the 41-year-old righty. Verlander was unable to make his scheduled start Saturday versus the Tigers after experiencing neck discomfort during his bullpen session Wednesday, prompting the Astros to push both Spencer Arrighetti and Ronel Blanco ahead in the pitching schedule. The extra rest appears to have done Verlander some good, as he was able to play catch prior to Sunday's series finale with Detroit. He'll likely try to throw another bullpen session Monday or Tuesday before the Astros lock him for a start against the White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:18 pm
    • Tyler Glasnow shuts down Royals, strikes out nine
Tyler Glasnow cruised against the Royals on Sunday, striking out nine over seven innings in the Dodgers’ 3-0 shutout.

Advice: Glasnow walked only one and needed just 85 pitches to get his 21 outs today. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak in which the Dodgers just couldn’t score runs for him. He’s 7-5 with a 3.00 ERA and a 125/25 K/BB in 93 innings for the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm

    • On bench for Game 2
Rooker is not in the starting lineup for the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader with the Twins, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rooker will take a seat after he went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in the team's 6-2 Game 1 loss. Miguel Andujar will slot in at designated hitter while Seth Brown enters the lineup in right field and bats seventh against Minnesota. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:29 pm

    • Blasts leadoff homer
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: On the third pitch he saw, Lindor took Dylan Cease deep for his first leadoff homer since 2019. It was his 12th home run this season and the third in his last nine games. Lindor has been on a steady climb for about a month now with an average of .303 over his last 25 games. After his slow start, the shortstop is now carrying a .231/.305/.420 slash line with 12 homers, 34 RBI and 11 steals for the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:26 pm
    • Picks up second win
Megill (2-3) pitched five innings to get the win Sunday vs the Padres. He gave up two runs on five hits while walking two and striking out five.

Advice: Megill worked around jams in the first and fifth innings to pick up his second win in his last three starts. The 28-year-old righty has struggled getting deep into games, as he's pitched more than five innings in only one of his six starts this season. Despite this, he's been a steadying presence in the Mets' rotation with a 3.52 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:16 pm
    • Tylor Megill solid over five innings in win
Tylor Megill allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday against the Padres. He struck out five and walked two en route to his second victory.

Advice: Megill’s growth over the past few weeks has been nice to watch. Still fastball dominant, Megill has done a great job developing a bevy of passable secondary pitches to supplement his strong heater. He generated at least one whiff on six different pitches Sunday - five of which had exactly one whiff - while mostly staying out of trouble. Efficiency still eludes Megill, but he’s turned himself into a solid starter. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm
