    • Patrick Sandoval goes six strong against Rangers
Patrick Sandoval allowed just a run over six innings while not factoring into the decision Saturday against the Rangers.

Advice: Sandoval did walk three and threw just 56-of-99 pitches for strikes, but he also allowed only three hits while picking up five strikeouts. It’s the second time in three starts that the southpaw has allowed no more than a run, and it’s helped lower what was a 6.75 ERA on April 20 to 4.85. He’ll have a chance to lower it again Friday against Cleveland. Rotoworld Today, 8:01 pm
    • Escapes with no-decision Saturday
Eflin came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays, giving up four runs on nine hits over six innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: After keeping Toronto hitters in check the first time through the order, things went off the rails for Eflin in the fourth and fifth innings, putting the Rays in a 4-0 hole that they eventually climbed out of. The right-hander did manage to keep the ball in the yard, snapping a streak of four straight starts in which he'd served up a homer. Eflin will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and stellar 44:4 K:BB through 59 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Royals. • Melts down in Miami
Diaz allowed four runs on four hits while recording just one out in Saturday's loss to the Marlins.

Advice: The Mets handed the ball to Diaz with a four-run advantage in the bottom of the ninth inning. He permitted a leadoff double and watched that run come around on a one-out single. Another single put two runners on and Josh Bell cashed them and himself in when he sent a ball 428 feet to center field for a three-run homer. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza pulled Diaz at that point. While this didn't officially go down as a blown save, it continued an ugly stretch for Diaz, who has allowed 10 runs over his last eight appearances covering 8.1 frames. When asked after the game about a potential change at closer, Mendoza didn't dismiss it, per Mike Puma of the New York Post. Diaz himself even said he'd be open to working in low-leverage spots for a while as he tries to get back on track. If Mendoza does opt to switch things up, Reed Garrett and Adam Ottavino look to be the top candidates to step in at closer. Rotowire.com Today, 5:40 pm
    • Not sharp versus Mets
Garrett took a no-decision Saturday against the Mets, getting charged with six runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Garrett looked out of sorts from the jump, hitting two batters with pitches while allowing three hits and two runs in the first inning. He did start to settle in a bit after that, but Garrett was pulled with the bases loaded and one out in the fifth and then watched all three inherited runners cross the plate. It's been two straight duds from Garrett since he's come off the injured list. Better days are surely ahead, but it will be difficult for fantasy managers to trust him next week in Arizona. • Good enough for win
Harrison (4-1) picked up the win Saturday versus the Rockies, yielding three runs on five hits and two walks over five frames. He notched four strikeouts.

Advice: Harrison was originally supposed to start Friday but got pushed back a day, with the Giants indicating it was because they were keeping an eye on his workload. His velocity was down a bit Saturday and he had thrown only 79 pitches over his five frames before getting pulled. While not overly sharp, Harrison was still good enough against the Rockies to pick up his fourth victory of the season. While the left-hander's 3.60 ERA and 1.27 WHIP have been solid, he's been a bit of a disappointment from a strikeouts perspective with just 49 over 55 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 4:33 pm
    • Diaz blows lead again
Edwin Diaz allowed four runs and only recorded one out against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Diaz entered the game with a four-run lead so it wasn’t technically a save situation, but he once again couldn’t hold the lead for the Mets. It’s his third straight appearance with a blown lead. Diaz allowed an RBI single to Jazz Chisholm and a game-tying three run home run to Josh Bell. His ERA is now 5.50 on the season. Diaz has been an elite closer in the past, but we’re at the point where he might need to be removed from the closer role temporarily.

    • Garrett shaky again Saturday
Braxton Garrett allowed six runs, seven hits and a walk in 4 ⅓ innings and got a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: It was Garrett’s second start since coming off the injured list. He’s allowed at least five runs in both of his starts and his ERA is up to 10.24. The silver lining is that Garrett has 13 strikeouts in 9 ⅔ innings this year. The 26-year-old left-hander is scheduled to face the Diamondbacks on the road next weekend, but he should be left on the bench for now.

    • Kyle Harrison earns fourth win Saturday
Kyle Harrison allowed three runs with four strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Harrison worked through a pair of scoreless innings before the Rockies brought three runs in to score on three hits and a walk in the third inning. He worked two more scoreless frames, ending his day after five with four strikeouts. The 22-year-old left-hander will take a 3.60 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and a 49/19 K/BB ratio across 55 innings into a start against the Mets in New York on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:55 pm
    • Zach Eflin surrenders four runs against Blue Jays
Zach Eflin allowed four runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin had worked through three scoreless innings before the Blue Jays brought a run across to score on three hits in the fourth. Four consecutive hits to start the fifth inning would bring three more runs in for Toronto. Eflin would return for one more inning, ending his day after six with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 44/4 K/BB ratio across 59 innings into a start against the Royals in Tampa Bay on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 2:57 pm
