• Goes five innings in no-decision
Lodolo didn't factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: After allowing just one run through his first two starts of the year, Lodolo struggled a bit Monday though he'd ultimately put together a respectable effort against a potent Philadelphia offense as the Reds rallied for a comeback win. Overall, the 26-year-old southpaw is 2-0 with a 2.12 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB across 17 innings. Lodolo's currently slated to face the Padres on the road in his next outing. • Strikes out eight Wednesday
Turnbull didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Cincinnati, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: It was another strong effort from Turnbull, who set a season-high with eight strikeouts while allowing just one run on a Will Benson solo homer in the third inning. Turnbull has been exceptional to start the year, going 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB through 27 innings. Still, with Taijuan Walker (shoulder) returning from the IL, Turnbull will head to the bullpen in an effort to manage his innings. The right-hander figures to be first in line should the Phillies need help in the rotation later this season. Rotowire.com Today, 8:59 pm
  • Drops rematch with Red Sox
Carrasco (1-2) took the loss Wednesday against Boston, allowing five runs on nine hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: After picking up a win against the Red Sox in his last outing, Carrasco had a far more difficult time Wednesday, giving up his first three home runs of the season en route to an eventual 8-0 defeat. The 37-year-old Carrasco hadn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start this year prior to Wednesday's loss. His ERA is now up to 4.63 with a 1.63 WHIP and 20:13 K:BB through his first five starts (23.1 innings). Carrasco will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next Tuesday in Houston. Rotowire.com Today, 8:45 pm
  • Another tough start
Crochet (1-4) took the loss Wednesday, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks over four innings against the Twins. He struck out six.

Advice: Crochet surrendered at least five runs for a third straight start, each of which lasted less than five innings and resulted in a loss for Crochet. After an impressive start to the season (four earned runs over 18.0 innings), Crochet has been equally unimpressive in his last three appearances, yielding 17 earned runs over 11.2 innings. Overall, Crochet owns a 6.37 ERA and 40:8 K:BB in six starts, and he's lined up for a rematch with the Twins on Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:31 pm
  • X-rays negative
X-rays on Marsh's right forearm came back negative Wednesday, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Advice: Marsh had to leave Wednesday's contest after taking a comebacker off his forearm in the fifth inning, though he was able to escape the incident with only a bruise. Manager Matt Quatraro said he expects the 25-year-old to be fine, and it seems Marsh still has a good chance to make his next start -- tentatively scheduled for Monday against the Blue Jays. Ryan has been tagged for three or more earned runs in three of his five starts this season but boasts an incredible 38:4 K:BB and a 1.01 WHIP in 28.2 innings. • Jon Gray whiffs seven in no-decision vs. Mariners
Jon Gray struck out seven batters with one run allowed over 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Mariners.

He settled down to toss three scoreless frames before leaving with two runners on and two outs in the fifth, giving him a no-decision. The 32-year-old right-hander induced ten whiffs, striking out seven. Gray will take a 2.92 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and a 32/11 K/BB ratio across 24 2/3 innings into a start against the Nationals in Texas on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 8:18 pm

  • Bryce Miller inefficient in loss to Rangers
Bryce Miller allowed two runs with five strikeouts over four innings in a loss against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller worked around two walks in the first inning, striking out the side. He tossed two more scoreless innings before Adolis García and Evan Carter went back-to-back for a pair of solo homers in the fourth. Two more runners would reach in the inning on a walk and a base hit before Miller could escape the frame. He’d be done after four on 83 pitches, walking a season-high four batters while striking out five. The 25-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 2.22 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and a 29/11 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings. Miller is in line for a tough matchup against the Braves in Seattle on Monday. • Matt Waldron holds Rockies to one run in win
Matt Waldron tossed six innings of one-run ball with five strikeouts in a win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Waldron had an excellent outing against the Rockies in Colorado. He sat down the first 10 batters he faced before loading the bases with two walks and a base hit. A pop out and ground out would get him out of the jam. Ryan McMahon finally put the Rockies on the board with a solo homer in the sixth. Waldron worked around three walks and four hits, inducing eight groundouts and striking out five. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.96 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 23/10 K/BB ratio across 25 innings into a start against the Reds in San Diego on Monday. Rotoworld Today, 8:09 pm
