    • Picks up seventh win
Fried improved to 7-3 on the season in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Yankees, striking out four while allowing one run on six hits and no walks over six innings.

Advice: Fried kept the Yankees off the board until a solo run crossed in the sixth on an Anthony Volpe double. Three of the six hits Fried allowed came during the sixth, but a timely double play ended the inning and kept Fried in line for his seventh win. Fried has now turned in eight quality starts through 15 outing, and in seventh of those starts, he's gone at least six innings while allowing no more than one earned run. He's currently scheduled to next toe the rubber against Pittsburgh when the Pirates head to Atlanta for a weekend set. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:49 pm

    • Max Fried stellar against Yankees in win
Max Fried shut the Yankees out over six innings in a 3-1 win on Sunday. He struck out four without walking a batter.

Advice: Fried was great in this and kept the Yankees off-balance by mixing all five of his pitches. He didn’t throw one individual offering more than 30% of the time and was adept at varying his four-seam fastball, sinker, and curveball early in counts. He’s as steady and stable as they come. • Strikes out 10 in victory
Glasnow (8-5) picked up the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits over seven innings while striking out 10.

Advice: Glasnow got off to a great start, going 1-2-3 through each of the first three innings while striking out five of the first 11 batters he faced. He would allow just one unearned run over the first six frames before leaving a slider up in the zone in the seventh, which Logan O'Hoppe launched into the stands for a solo shot. Glasnow has been spectacular as of late, with the exception of his road outing against the Yankees three starts back, allowing no more than three hits in four of his last five outings. He's also posted double-digit strikeouts in two of his last three starts and now carries a 40:4 K:BB in June to go along with a 2.42 ERA. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:56 am
    • Blanks KC for third win
Gray (3-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two hits over six scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory over the Royals. He struck out three.

Advice: Both hits were third-inning singles, but Gray shut down the rally and proceeded to retire the final 10 batters he faced before exiting. The right-hander tossed 72 pitches (51 strikes) en route to his sixth quality start of the season, but Saturday marked the first time he'd lasted at least six innings in a start since May 15. Gray will take a 3.03 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 68:19 K:BB through 71.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend in Baltimore. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:24 am

    • Tyler Glasnow dominates Angels with 10 strikeouts
Tyler Glasnow recorded 10 strikeouts and was charged with two runs (one earned) over seven innings on Saturday in a win over the Angels.

Advice: Glasnow took the ball for Saturday’s Freeway Series finale at Dodger Stadium and authored another dominant performance, notching his sixth double-digit strikeout effort in the process. He generated only nine swinging strikes, but threw an astounding 51 of 74 pitches for strikes to finish with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. He gave up only two hits as a fifth-inning solo shot by Logan O’Hoppe accounted for the lone earned run against him in this one. He’s bounced back following a rough outing against the Yankees back on June 9 by completing seven innings in each of his last two starts, while notching 19 strikeouts and allowing just one earned run during that span. He’ll carry a sparkling 2.88 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 135/25 K/BB ratio across 100 innings (16 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the Giants. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:33 am
    • Goes eight scoreless frames again
Gilbert (5-4) earned the win over Miami on Saturday, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over eight scoreless innings.

Advice: Gilbert's superb stat line was just a tad less impressive than in his previous outing, when he allowed two hits and struck out nine over eight scoreless frames against Texas. The right-hander has been on a roll throughout June -- he's tossed four quality starts in four outings this month while posting a 1.21 ERA over 29.2 innings. Perhaps most impressive is Gilbert's 28:1 K:BB over that span. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:20 pm
    • Allows three runs in 4.1 frames
Pivetta took a no-decision Saturday against Cincinnati, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five batters over 4.1 innings.

Advice: All three of the runs allowed by Pivetta came via the long ball -- Spencer Steer tagged him for a two-run homer in the first inning, and Elly De La Cruz launched a solo shot in the third. Pivetta didn't damage his ERA too dramatically, but he exited after 4.1 innings after racking up 96 pitches. It was the third time over his past six starts that he's failed to complete five frames, though the right-hander also has a pair of seven-inning quality starts during that span. • Settles in to earn win
Mikolas (6-6) earned the win against the Giants on Saturday, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Mikolas struggled early, allowing three runs in the first inning and another in the third. He bounced back with three perfect frames and departed with a 7-4 lead at the conclusion of the sixth. Mikolas broke a streak of five consecutive quality starts but was still able to earn his third victory in his past four starts. The 35-year-old now owns a 4.68 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 67:17 K:BB and lines up to face the Reds next week. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:50 pm

    • Pivetta allows three in no-decision against Reds
Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in 4 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Pivetta gave up six hits, walked one and struck out five. He was on the hook for the loss before a late comeback by the Red Sox offense. It was another pedestrian start from Pivetta that might be becoming a trend. In his first eight starts of the year, he had 51 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings. In his last three starts, he’s had just 13 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home next weekend.
