    • Carlos Correa (arm) exits game after hit by pitch
      Carlos Correa left Thursday’s game against the Diamondbacks after being hit by a pitch on the right forearm.

      Advice: This one didn’t look good at all. Correa took a 94-mph fastball off his right forearm during the seventh inning of Thursday’s blowout in Arizona. He immediately left the contest shaking his head and holding that arm in a great deal of pain. The 29-year-old shortstop will head for additional evaluation and X-rays to determine the extent of the damage.       Red Sox activated Connor Wong from the Paternity List.

      The Red Sox reinstated Wong (personal) from the paternity list Thursday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Wong missed the maximum three games while on paternity leave and will rejoin the Red Sox ahead of Friday's series opener versus the Padres. Tyler Heineman was optioned to Triple-A Worcester to clear room on the active roster for Wong, who should settle back in as Boston's No. 1 catcher while Reese McGuire serves as the backup.       Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora said Wednesday that Connor Wong is expected to return from the paternity list on Friday.

      Advice: The hard-hitting backstop missed the first half of the week to attend the birth of his child, but expect him to be right back behind the dish for Friday’s series opener against the Padres.       Advice: He took Kevin Gausman deep in the second inning and nearly did it again in the sixth, but his blast to the deepest part of the center field triangle at Fenway Park ended up being a double due to fan interference.       Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Red Sox.

      Advice: The 34-year-old outfielder capped a seven-run eruption for the Blue Jays in the third inning when he drove a Brayan Bello slider into the right-center field bullpen at Fenway Park. Springer is having the worst season of his career by a wide margin -- Tuesday's long ball snapped a 17-game homer drought, and it highlighted his first multi-hit performance since June 3.       Harper went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 4-1 loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

      Advice: Harper provided the only offense for the Phillies, hitting a solo home run off Jason Foley in the ninth inning. It was the slugger's second consecutive day with a home run, and he has now gone a ridiculous 20-for-43 with five homers, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored over a current 10-game hitting streak.     • George Springer finds power stroke in win
      George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out.
