      Michael Busch went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts on Thursday in the Cubs’ shutout loss at the hands of the Braves.

      Advice: Busch is really struggling at the moment, batting .183 (17-for-93) with just one home run over his last 30 games. He’s gone especially frigid at the dish, hitting just .071 (1-for-14) over his past seven contests. The league seems to have made its adjustment to the 26-year-old top prospect and now it’s time for him to strike back.       Corey Seager is not in the starting lineup for the Rangers’ game against the Phillies on Thursday.

      Advice: It’s a day game after a night game in conditions that figure to be wet and gross, so it’s the perfect time to give Seager a breather. The shortstop has been heating up of late, hitting a home run in each of the last three games and six in his last 16 days. Even with the slow start to the season, his plate discipline metrics remained elite, so it was only a matter of time before he started to put up early-round fantasy value.       Advice: Seager has hit home runs in three straight games, but he will be given a breather Thursday as the Rangers go up against Zack Wheeler and the Phillies.       Olson went 2-for-5 in Wednesday's win over the Cubs with a solo home run.

      Advice: Olson launched a two-out, solo homer in the top of the seventh to extend Atlanta's lead to seven runs, giving the first baseman his fourth long ball this month and seventh overall on the season. The veteran first baseman also added a single on the night, marking his ninth multi-hit performance of the campaign and fifth in his last nine games.     • Bounces back against Marlins
      Peralta (3-3) took the loss Wednesday against Miami, allowing one run on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Peralta was locked into a pitcher's duel with Jesus Luzardo, with a leadoff home run by Jazz Chisholm in the first inning being enough to push Peralta into the loss column. Still, fantasy managers saw the dominant version of Peralta that garnered early Cy Young consideration before his ERA ballooned from 1.90 on April 19 to 4.17 before Wednesday's outing. Through the ups and downs, Peralta's strikeout production has maintained, with 71 K's across 56.2 innings on the year.     • Struggles again Wednesday
      Miller (3-5) allowed five runs on five hits and struck out four without walking a batter over six innings, taking the loss versus the Yankees on Wednesday.

      Advice: Miller's last two starts, on the road versus the Orioles and Yankees, have shown that he still has some work to do against elite offenses. He was done in by the long ball Wednesday -- Aaron Judge tagged him for a two-run home run in the first inning and Juan Soto went deep twice in the contest. Miller has allowed multiple homers in four of his 10 starts this season, giving up a total of 10 long balls. The right-hander has a 3.53 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 56:16 K:BB over 58.2 innings. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Astros. Miller gave up four runs on six hits, including two homers and one walk over six innings in a May 5 start at Houston.       Seager went 2-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run during Wednesday's 11-4 loss to Philadelphia.

      Advice: Seager reached base four times Wednesday, but he was only able to reach home plate on a solo homer in the seventh off Gregory Soto. The shortstop has gone yard in three straight games and has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games.       Bryce Miller allowed five earned runs on five hits, including three homers, across six innings in a loss to the Yankees on Wednesday. He struck out four and walked none.

      Advice: Aaron Judge and Juan Soto jumped all over Miller in this one accounting for all of his earned runs with three combined homers. Miller was visibly frustrated as the pitches they hit out weren’t even bad: Soto took two sinkers on the edge to left field and Judge golfed a low and away slider into the short porch.       Matt Olson went 2-for-5 with a solo homer against the Cubs on Wednesday.

      Advice: Olson is having a much better month at the plate after a cold start in April, with multiple hits in five of his last nine games. He sent one over the fence in this one, taking Jose Cuas deep for a solo homer in the seventh inning.
