    • Yates picks up 13th save against Rays Saturday
Kirby Yates tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: The save was his 13th of the season since taking the closer job in April. Yates threw a perfect ninth inning in a one-run game. He’s been basically untouchable as his ERA is 0.86 on the season. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Tyler Anderson tosses eight scoreless vs. Cubs
Tyler Anderson struck out ten batters over eight scoreless innings in a win over the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Anderson was masterful on Saturday, shutting the Cubs down over eight innings. He scattered three hits and did not walk a batter, tossing 66-of-98 pitches for strikes. Anderson induced an impressive 22 whiffs to strike out ten batters. The 34-year-old left-hander is having an excellent season, posting a 2.81 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 7747 K/BB ratio across 112 innings. He’ll take on the Mariners in Anaheim on Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 1:56 pm
    • Kyle Tucker (shin) resumes jogging on Friday
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters that Kyle Tucker (shin) resumed jogging on Friday.

Advice: Tucker, who has been out since early June due to a right shin bruise, was able to resume hitting a couple weeks ago, and has finally resumed running again. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t going to make it back until after the upcoming Midsummer Classic, but it sounds like he’s finally starting to make some actual progress in his recovery. We don’t want to speculate wildly, but it seems like Tucker was recovering from something more serious than a mere contusion, but there’s been nothing official from the club on that front. • Hit streak reaches double digits
Seager went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 3-0 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: Seager lashed a two-run double in the third inning and came around to score on a Nathaniel Lowe single. The double extended Seager's hit streak to 10 games, during which he's 13-for-38 (.342) with five doubles, a home run, five RBI and five additional runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:05 am

    • Shaky but records save
Foley allowed two runs on four hits but managed to secure the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: Foley started the ninth inning with a 5-2 lead but was generally ineffective as he allowed Cincinnati back into the game before eventually escaping. Despite the blip, the righty has been mostly reliable this year, compiling a 3.26 ERA across 30.1 innings and recording 14 saves in 16 chances. Foley isn't the most exciting option, but as long as he remains the closer in Detroit, he'll maintain fantasy value. Rotowire.com Today, 6:45 am
    • Pablo Lopez surrenders six runs in defeat
Pablo López was tagged for six runs in five innings Friday in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: López didn’t allow any extra-base hits tonight, but the singles were all bunched together. Four came in a three-run second inning that featured just one hard-hit ball. The remaining three runs all scored in the sixth after he allowed three singles to begin the inning and was pulled. The loss leaves him 8-7 with a 5.17 ERA, but that just makes him an excellent buy-low candidate in fantasy leagues, Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:53 pm

    • Michael Lorenzen combines on shutout of Rays
Michael Lorenzen pitched around five walks to shut out the Rays for five innings in the Rangers’ 3-0 victory Friday.

Advice: Lorenzen surrendered just one hit, a double off the bat of Brandon Lowe. It wound up being a three-hit shutout for the Rangers’ pitching staff, with José Leclerc, Jacob Latz, David Robertson and Kirby Yates combining to finish the effort. Lorenzen is now 5-4 with a 3.21 ERA. It will be interesting to see if the Rangers choose to move him with Tyler Mahle, Cody Bradford and Jacob deGrom all seemingly on the way back. • Kirby Yates perfect in earning 12th save
Kirby Yates earned his 12th save with a perfect ninth Friday versus the Rays.

Advice: Yates struck out two of the three batters he faced in the 3-0 game. With 43 strikeouts and 13 hits allowed in 30 1/3 innings, his ERA stands at 0.89 after 30 appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:22 pm

    • Delivers walk-off homer
Machado went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and three total runs scored in Friday's 10-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Padres blew a five-run lead in the top of the ninth inning, but Machado saved the day with his walk-off blast. He had started to go cold, going 2-for-15 over his previous four games, but he's now slugged five homers and added 11 RBI over his last nine contests. The third baseman is at a .270/.320/.425 slash line with 12 long balls, 49 RBI, 42 runs scored and five stolen bases through 84 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:34 pm
