    • Showcasing power
Langford went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Langford provided insurance when he launched a grand slam in the eighth inning, giving the team a six-run lead heading into the final frame. Until this week, the rookie had been held to one inside-the-park home run, which was uncharacteristic for the prospect that carried 70-grade power. That all changed this week; Saturday's granny was the second outside-the-park home run this week for Langford, who is 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and nine RBI over the last four contests. Since returning from a three-week stint on the injured list in May, Langford is slashing .299/.341/.481 with eight extra-base hits, 19 RBI and six steals over 21 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:50 am
    • Active early in win
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Suzuki opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and then stole second and scored in the same frame. He later added a double in the fifth. Suzuki is slashing .292/.395/.523 with seven multi-hit efforts in 65 June at-bats. The 29-year-old is contributing a bit of everything this season, slashing .269/.347/.461 with eight home runs, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and seven steals through 197 at-bats. • Landford has two hits, grand slam in win Saturday
Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s home run was just his third of the year, but he’s been heating up at the plate lately. Since returning from the injured list, he’s 23-for-77 (.298) with two home runs and 19 RBI in 21 games. Langford still has plenty of time over the rest of the season to live up to the lofty preseason expectations. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:41 pm
    • Sitting Saturday
Gurriel (elbow) isn't in Arizona's lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel was removed from Friday's game due to a sore left elbow, and it is seemingly bothering him enough to keep him from playing Saturday, though the D-backs don't believe his injury to be anything too serious. Jake McCarthy will slide over to left field while Gurriel recovers, allowing Randal Grichuk to start in right field while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:51 am
    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (elbow) not in Saturday’s lineup
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (elbow) is absent from the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet, so that’s at least an encouraging development after he was lifted from Friday’s contest against Philadelphia with left elbow soreness. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the moment. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:18 am
    • Drives in two in win
Langford went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Friday's 6-2 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Langford continues to deliver for the Rangers during the month of June. The rookie outfielder, who has 11 RBI over the last 11 games, is batting .302/.353/.476 in 17 games this month. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:33 am
    • Wyatt Langford plates two as Rangers top Royals
Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI on Friday evening as the Rangers triumphed over the Royals.

Advice: Langford got the Rangers on the board in the fourth inning with a game-tying RBI double off of Royals’ right-hander Brady Singer. He then tied the game again in the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. The 22-year-old phenom seems to be coming into his own a bit over the past few weeks and is now slashing .249/.309/.349 on the season to go with two long balls, 26 RBI and seven swipes. • Avoids serious injury
Gurriel did not require an X-ray on his elbow following Friday's game against the Phillies, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Advice: Gurriel exited the contest in the seventh inning with elbow soreness, though manager Torey Lovullo said after the game that he doesn't anticipate that Gurriel will require a stint on the injured list. The outfielder's status for Saturday remains in question, however. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:45 pm
    • Diamondbacks hopeful Gurriel (elbow) will avoid IL
Diamondbacks’ skipper Torey Lovullo said after Friday’s game that he’s hopeful Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (elbow) will be able to avoid the injured list.

Advice: Lovullo noted that the 30-year-old outfielder was sore after the game on Friday but that he did not require any imaging — at least at this time. He’ll be re-evaluated on Saturday, but it sounds like he was fortunate to have avoided any type of serious injury here. Rotoworld Friday, 7:32 pm
