      Robert Suarez fired a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Rangers to record his 22nd save of the season.

      Advice: Suarez came on to face the bottom of the Rangers’ lineup in the final frame with a two-run lead in hand and immediately got into trouble by issuing a leadoff walk to rookie sensation Wyatt Langford. Fortunately, he was able to get Leody Taveras to ground into a fielder’s choice before striking out Travis Jankowski and coaxing a game-ending ground out from Jonah Heim.       Seiya Suzuki went 2-for3 with two walks, a steal and three runs scored Thursday versus the Phillies.

      Advice: It’s nice seeing Suzuki with eight steals in 10 attempts this season after he was just 6-for-13 last year.       Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and two strikeouts in Thursday's 3-2 over the Pirates.

      Advice: Goldschmidt had two hits and a steal in Wednesday's contest, and with another swipe Thursday, it became the 13th time in his career he's recorded stolen bases in back-to-back games. The 2022 NL MVP got off to a rough start this season with two home runs and .530 OPS through 37 games, but he's turned it around nicely since the middle of May.       Marcus Stroman gave up five runs while hurling five innings in a loss to the Reds on Thursday.

      Advice: The long ball was a problem for Stroman, as he gave up three homers accounting for all five runs.
