    • Megill gives up four runs in no-decision Saturday
Tylor Megill allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Megill gave up five hits, walked three and struck out six. He pitched well enough to win and looked like he was going to before the Mets bullpen blew a late lead. Megill has a 5.08 ERA on the season, but he’s pitched better than that as his xFIP is 3.92. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals on the road next week.

    • Roddery Muñoz allows two runs in no-decision
Roddery Muñoz allowed two runs with four strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Muñoz worked through two scoreless frames before Garrett Stubbs took him deep for a solo homer to lead off the third inning. A walk, base hit, and sacrifice fly would bring in a second run for the Phillies in the fifth inning before Muñoz was replaced on the mound with two outs at 79 pitches. He struck out four. The 24-year-old ends the day with a 5.58 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and a 38/20 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings. He’s lined up for a start against the White Sox in Miami on Friday. • Civale solid in loss to Nationals Saturday
Aaron Civale allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Civale gave up six hits, walked four and struck out two. CJ Abrams homered to start the game, but Civale was pretty solid after that. He’s actually been quite a bit better than his 5.07 ERA on the season suggests given his 4.06 xFIP. Civale could be a decent buy low candidate. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rangers on the road next week.

    • Allows three runs in no-decision
Cannon did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Rockies, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk with three strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Cannon surrendered a solo home run to Brendan Rodgers in the second inning and a two-run homer to Nolan Jones in the fifth. He departed before the White Sox erupted for 11 runs, but it was nice to see the rookie rebound with a solid effort after allowing eight runs (five earned) in one inning June 23. On the season, the 23-year-old owns a 4.62 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 32:7 K:BB through 39 innings and lines up to face the Marlins next week. Rotowire.com Today, 3:46 pm

    • Allows three homers in loss
Quantrill (6-6) took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday, allowing five runs on seven hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Quantrill opened with four scoreless innings before allowing a two-run home run to Lenyn Sosa in the fifth. He had a rough sixth frame, surrendering a solo homer to Luis Robert Jr. and a two-run shot to Paul DeJong before being pulled at 90 pitches. This was the first time Quantrill didn't walk a batter in an start since May 3, but he was burned by the long ball and has now yielded 11 earned runs over his last three outings. On the season, the 29-year-old owns a 3.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 72:34 K:BB over 95.1 innings and lines up to face the Brewers next week. Rotowire.com Today, 3:40 pm
    • Harris gives up 10 hits in loss to Diamondbacks
Hogan Harris allowed three runs in 3 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Advice: Harris gave up 10 hits, walked one and struck out three. He’s fortunate to have a 3.18 ERA given his xFIP is 4.65. Harris is far off the fantasy radar. The 27-year-old left-hander is set to face the Orioles at home next week.

    • Angels option Zach Plesac to Triple-A Salt Lake
Angels optioned RHP Zach Plesac to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Advice: Plesac had been cruising through Friday’s start against the Tigers, then suddenly forgot how to throw strikes with two outs in the third inning. He’ll continue to work through his issues at the Triple-A level. Andrew Wantz was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday to provide a fresh arm in the Angels’ bullpen. • Optioned to Triple-A
The Angels optioned Plesac to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Advice: Plesac has struggled in three starts with the Angels this season, giving up 11 runs in 12 innings while striking out five batters and walking seven. He'll return to Salt Lake in an effort to get back on track, but he hasn't been much better in the minors with a 5.42 ERA through 13 starts with the Bees. Andrew Wantz will come up from Triple-A to fill the vacancy in Los Angeles' pitching staff. Rotowire.com Today, 2:48 pm

    • Won't require rehab stint
Harrison (ankle) will throw one more bullpen session then rejoin the rotation during the Giants' six-game road trip that begins Thursday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Harrison hasn't seen any in-game action since June 10 due to a sprained right ankle, but he'll be ready to return to the Giants rotation after completing several bullpen sessions. While it's unclear when he'll be slotted to start, the 22-year-old is most likely to pitch during a three-game series in Cleveland next weekend. Prior to the injury, Harrison turned in a 3.96 ERA and a 68:22 K:BB across 77.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 2:17 pm
