    • Moves to 60-day IL
The Marlins transferred Weathers (finger) to the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Advice: The left-hander has been shut down from throwing due to an index finger strain since he landed on the shelf June 8, so he was already likely to be sidelined for 60-plus days. Weathers is expected to be re-evaluated soon, and he could be back with the Marlins sometime in August if cleared to resume throwing after that evaluation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:45 pm

    • Lit up in loss
Littell (3-6) allowed seven runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Littell mostly had things under control until the Rangers erupted for six runs in the fourth inning. He left with a 7-2 deficit, and the Rangers continued to find success against the Rays' bullpen, leaving Littell to take his first loss in four starts. He's had one bad outing in each month of the season, but he's given up four or more runs just four times in 18 starts. The right-hander has a 4.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 91:17 K:BB through 95.1 innings. Littell will look to bounce back versus the Guardians in a challenging matchup at home next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:35 pm
    • May need another rehab start
Woo (hamstring) threw 45 pitches and allowed two runs on a hit with two walks and two strikeouts over 2.2 innings during his rehab start with High-A Everett on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old rejoined the Mariners on Sunday, but manager Scott Servais was non-committal on whether the right-hander will require an additional rehab outing. The club wants Woo to be able to cover at least four or five innings before being reinserted into the big-league rotation, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's sent on another rehab outing to further build up his workload before being activated. • Littell lit up in loss to the Rangers
Zack Littell allowed seven runs on nine hits in four innings in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Littell has been inconsistent in his first season as a starter and has a 4.44 ERA on the year. His name has been mentioned in trade rumors with the Rays looking like sellers, but it’s also possible that the Rays will decide to move Littell back into a long relief role with Jeffrey Springs nearing a return to the MLB rotation. All of that makes Littell a risky bet beyond the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:26 pm
    • Marlins transfer Ryan Weathers (finger) to 60-day IL
Marlins transferred LHP Ryan Weathers from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Weathers is now off the 40-man roster. The left-hander has a left index finger sprain, and he can’t return to Miami until the start of September now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:04 pm

    • Returns to starting nine
Altuve (hand) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Advice: For just the fourth time all season, Altuve missed out on a start in Saturday's 9-3 loss while he recovered from a hand contusion stemming from being hit by a pitch in Friday's 13-12 win. The day off was apparently all Altuve needed to heal up from the bruise to his left hand, as he'll take back his usual spot in the field and atop the batting order for the series finale. Altuve had been running hot at the dish prior to sitting out Saturday, slashing .400/.449/.556 with two home runs and three stolen bases over his last 10 games. • Altuve returns to lineup, Alvarez out vs. Twins
Jose Altuve (hand) is back in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Twins.

Advice: Altuve is in the starting lineup after suffering a bruise on his left hand that kept him out Saturday. That’s good news for the Astros and fantasy managers, but the team will be without Yordan Alvarez (knee) for Sunday’s finale against Minnesota. Altuve will hit leadoff and play second base in his return to the fold. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:33 am

    • Smacks solo homer in loss
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to Colorado.

Advice: Pasquantino jumped on a hanging slider from Austin Gomber in the top of the sixth and launched it 434 feet into the stands in center field for his 11th home run of the season, extending his hitting streak to four games. The first baseman has also tallied multiple hits in six of his last 10 contests and has driven in at least one run in 10 of his last 12. Over that former stretch Pasquantino is batting .375 (15-for-40) with three homers, 11 RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:50 am
    • Vinnie Pasquantino goes deep in loss to Rockies
Vinnie Pasquantino swatted a solo homer on Saturday in the Royals’ loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Pasquantino’s sixth-inning blast off Rockies starter Austin Gomber was his 11th deep fly of the season and represented the lone run for Kansas City in a rare low-scoring affair at Coors Field. The 26-year-old first baseman is batting .305 (18-for-59) with four homers and 13 RBI over his last 15 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:18 am
