    • Struggles continue Thursday
Riley went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

Advice: The third baseman's been dropped down to fifth in the order, even with lefty-hander Cole Irvin on the mound for Baltimore on Thursday, but it hasn't helped wake up Riley's bat. His last homer came May 3, and in 16 games since he returned from an intercostal strain he's slashing just .161/.212/.194 with two RBI and a 4:17 BB:K. Riley's track record says he will heat up at some point this summer, and his Statcast profile suggests there's a great deal of bad luck contributing to his numbers this season -- he's in the 91st percentile in max exit velocity, 90th percentile in bat speed and 82nd percentile in hard-hit rate. • Works 4.2 innings
Miller (shoulder) allowed five earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings in a rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Advice: This was likely Miller's final rebab appearance before being activated from the injured list. While the surface stats weren't strong, his fastball was measured between 96 and 99 mph, and he threw 51 of 93 pitches for strikes. If the Dodgers elect to keep him on five days rest and bring him back to the big-league roster, Miller would make his return at Coors Field on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:33 pm

    • Bobby Miller struggles in final rehab tune-up
Bobby Miller (shoulder) surrendered five runs over 4 2/3 innings on Thursday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Miller struck out four, issued three walks, and threw 93 pitches (51 strikes) in his fourth and likely final rehab start as he completes his lengthy rehabilitation process from a right shoulder injury. The positive news here is that he averaged 97.4 mph on his four-seam fastball. Unfortunately, he got hit pretty hard and struggled to find the strike zone in this one. He’s likely to rejoin Los Angeles’ starting rotation mix at some point next week. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:06 pm

    • Goes six innings in loss
Keller (8-4) was charged with the loss after he allowed four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts over six innings Thursday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Keller's four earned runs allowed tied a season high, but he still managed to extend a streak of seven straight starts of at least six innings. He gave up a homers to Paul Goldschmidt and Brendan Donovan, making it the first time this season he's allowed multiple long balls in a game. The 28-year-old has a 3.36 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 78:22 K:BB across 85.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:15 pm
    • Mitch Keller gives up first homers in five weeks
Mitch Keller lost to the Cardinals after giving up four runs in six innings Thursday.

Advice: Keller had gone five straight starts without allowing a homer and hadn’t yielded more than one in any outing this season, but both Paul Goldschmidt and Brendan Donovan left the yard against him today. It’s the first time he’s given up more than two runs since Apr. 30. He’s now 8-4 with a 3.36 ERA. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:57 pm
    • Rips walk-off double
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run and walk in Thursday's 4-3 win versus the Yankees.

Advice: Garcia came up with two on and two out in the ninth and took a Clay Holmes sinker down the left-field line to win it for Kansas City. The 24-year-old third baseman entered the game in a bit of a slump during June with just one RBI and a .159 average in 40 at-bats. Garcia continues to provide a spark for the Royals this season with his solid counting stats, as he now has 18 extra-base hits and 38 RBI with 16 stolen bases through 68 games. • Maikel Garcia delivers game-winner for Royals
Maikel Garcia delivered a two-run double with two outs in the ninth to give the Royals a 4-3 win over the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Garcia hasn’t hit quite as well as we expected, but he has 38 RBI anyway, mostly because his average is over 100 points higher with runners on than with the bases empty. Between that, his 45 runs scored in the leadoff spot and his 16 steals, he’s been an odd, three-category wonder so far. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:27 pm

    • Tapped for start Sunday
Waldrep will make his next start Sunday against the Rays in Atlanta, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Atlanta had held off from listing Waldrep among its probable pitchers following his MLB debut this past weekend against the Nationals, but the fact that the rookie wasn't immediately demoted following his first start always suggested that he was sticking around in the big-league rotation. Waldrep was touched up for seven runs while striking out only one over 3.2 innings against the Nationals, but he had cruised through the first three frames before unraveling in the fourth. Though Waldrep displayed plenty of upside during stops with Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett earlier this season, he'll still carry plenty of risk as a fantasy option Sunday, even in a favorable matchup at home. • Taking seat Thursday
Stanton is out of the lineup for Thursday's game in Kansas City.

Advice: Stanton slugged home runs in the second and third games of the series but has bookended the power output with days off in the first and now the fourth games. Aaron Judge will get a day out of the outfield and serve as the Yankees' designated hitter Thursday while Stanton rests. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:32 am
