    • Maikel Garcia delivers game-winner for Royals
Maikel Garcia delivered a two-run double with two outs in the ninth to give the Royals a 4-3 win over the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Garcia hasn’t hit quite as well as we expected, but he has 38 RBI anyway, mostly because his average is over 100 points higher with runners on than with the bases empty. Between that, his 45 runs scored in the leadoff spot and his 16 steals, he’s been an odd, three-category wonder so far. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:27 pm

    • Taking seat Thursday
Stanton is out of the lineup for Thursday's game in Kansas City.

Advice: Stanton slugged home runs in the second and third games of the series but has bookended the power output with days off in the first and now the fourth games. Aaron Judge will get a day out of the outfield and serve as the Yankees' designated hitter Thursday while Stanton rests. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:32 am
    • Resting for day game
Murphy is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Murphy will get a breather for Thursday's matinee after he caught eight innings of Atlanta's 4-2 loss Wednesday night while going hitless across four at-bats. Travis d'Arnaud will spell Murphy behind the plate. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:49 am

    • Homers in second straight game
Stanton went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Wednesday in an 11-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Stanton flexed his power with a 449-foot two-run blast in the fifth inning. It was his second straight game with a home run after an ugly weekend set against the Dodgers during which he went 0-for-14 with seven punchouts. Stanton is up to 17 homers and 40 RBI on the campaign along with a .233/.288/.491 slash line. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:42 pm
    • Gets on base four times
Soler went 2-for-2 with two walks and one run scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: Soler has found some success at the plate in June, going 11-for-37 (.297) over 10 contests this month. He's also drawn four walks over his last three games, though his 9.6 percent walk rate is still his lowest since 2015. While it's a positive to see the designated hitter make more consistent contact, he's still struggling to hit for power. He's batting .217 with a .661 OPS, seven home runs, 18 RBI, 26 runs scored, nine doubles and no stolen bases over 56 games this season. Soler's lowest OPS in a season is .503 in 2017, but he played in just 35 games that year. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:18 pm

    • Giancarlo Stanton goes yard in blowout win
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer against the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Stanton took Daniel Lynch deep for a two-run shot in the fifth inning to extend the Yankees big lead over the Royals. He then knocked a base hit in the seventh and scored on a three-run blast by Gleyber Torres. It was Stanton’s second straight game with two hits and one homer. The 34-year-old slugger is slashing .233/.288/.491 with 17 homers and 40 RBI across 250 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:03 pm
    • Activated, optioned to Triple-A
The Yankees reinstated Dominguez (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Dominguez has been on the injured list all season while recovering from a Tommy John procedure he underwent in September, and though he now appears to have made a full recovery, he will remain in Triple-A for now. The 21-year-old outfield prospect has played in 20 total games with three of New York's minor-league affiliates, slashing .368/.415/.658 with six home runs and 13 RBI in 82 plate appearances. If he continues at his current pace, a return to the majors is likely to come at some point, though he would have to compete against Alex Verdugo, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto for playing time in the Yankees' outfield. Jon Berti (calf) was transferred to the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:50 pm
    • Yankees activate and option Jasson Dominguez
Yankees activated OF Jasson Dominguez from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: No, unfortunately it’s not the promotion to the big league club that everyone has been waiting for. Time was up on Dominguez’s minor league rehab assignment though, so he needed to be activated from the injured list. The 21-year-old phenom has been obliterating the baseball in the minor leagues — slashing .368/.415/.658 with six homers, 13 RBI and a pair of swipes in his first 82 plate appearances. It’s only a matter of time. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:43 pm
    • Mashes 16th homer
Stanton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 10-1 win against Kansas City.

Advice: Stanton produced an RBI on a fielder's choice in the first inning and added a 446-foot solo blast in the seventh. It was a positive bounce-back after the slugger went 0-for-14 with seven strikeouts during the weekend's three-game series versus the Dodgers. Stanton's .229 batting average on the season isn't ideal, but he's tied for ninth in the league with 16 homers and has added 38 RBI along with 29 runs through 245 plate appearances.
