      Bradish came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over 2.2 innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: The right-hander wasn't at his sharpest, but he mostly got pecked to death as only one of the hits off him went for extra bases, a triple by Yandy Diaz in the second inning. Bradish got more than enough run support to avoid his first loss of the season, however.       Hayes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The third baseman took Yusei Kikuchi deep in the first inning, helping to kick-start what proved to be a laugher for the Pirates. It was only Hayes' second long ball of the season, and his first in three games since recovering from back issues and coming off the IL.       Keller (7-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings in an 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out eight.

      Advice: The right-hander has been overshadowed by the debuts of Paul Skenes and Jared Jones this season, but Keller has been the Pirates' most dependable starter. He's won five straight starts, posting a 1.34 ERA. 0.92 WHIP and 27:5 K:BB in 33.2 innings over that stretch, and Saturday's quality start was his seventh of the year.       Advice: Gray reached double-digit strikeouts for the second time in 10 starts this year, but he received little run support after a shaky first inning. The right-hander has allowed at least four runs in three of his last five outings. For the season, he's at a 3.00 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 77:15 K:BB over 57 innings.       Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramirez singled and came around to score in the first then stole second and scored from there on a wild pitch in the third.       Sonny Gray allowed four runs in five innings and took the loss in the Cardinals’ 6-1 loss against the Phillies on Saturday.

      Advice: Gray gave up five hits, walked three and struck out 10. The Phillies jumped on him early scoring three runs in the first inning. Gray was mostly in charge the rest of the way allowing only one more run and recording 10 punch outs. His 77 strikeouts this season put him inside the top 15 for starting pitchers in all off baseball. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies at home next week.       Corey Seager went 3-for-5 with a walk in a win for the Rangers over the Marlins on Saturday.

    • Kyle Bradish surrenders five runs in no-decision
      Kyle Bradish allowed five runs with six strikeouts over 2 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Bradish was able to work around a pair of hits in the first inning, but allowed three runs in to score in the second on three singles and a triple. Things fell apart for Bradish in the third. A wild pitch put a runner on before he walked three straight batters to bring a run in. He was replaced with two outs in the inning at 76 pitches. He struck out six. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.18 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 40/14 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings into a start against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Thursday.       José Ramírez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in the Guardians 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramírez knocked a base hit in the first inning and scored on a single by Kyle Manzardo. He knocked another base hit to lead off the third and stole second before scoring from second on a wild pitch. The 31-year-old third baseman has been on a tear over the last month.
