    • Strikes out eight in loss
Bellozo (0-1) took the loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday, allowing five runs on seven hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Bellozo generated a solid 12 swinging strikes on 98 pitches and has walked just one batter over 10 major-league innings. He was burned by two rough frames, allowing a two-run single in the first and a three-run home run in the fourth. While it is unclear how long the rookie will remain in Miami's rotation, he tentatively lines up for a favorable matchup against the White Sox this weekend. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago

    • Logs quality start in no-decision
Carrasco did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Carrasco allowed a solo home run in the first inning and a two-run home run in the sixth but threw four scoreless frames in between. He registered an impressive 10 swinging strikes on 70 pitches and has logged quality starts in two of his past three outings. He still owns an uninspiring 5.21 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 61:24 K:BB through 76 innings and lines up for a home matchup against the Giants this weekend. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

    • Logs quality start in no-decision
Flexen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Guardians, allowing six runs (three earned) on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Flexen entered the sixth inning in a 3-3 tie but an error by Paul DeJong led to three unearned runs before he finished the frame at 101 pitches. It wasn't the most appealing quality start, but Flexen has now logged two in his past three outings. The 30-year-old has not recorded a win since May 8 and owns a 5.08 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 63:33 K:BB over 85 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Marlins this weekend. • Chad Green escapes with save
Chad Green allowed one hit in the ninth inning while earning a save in a 7-6 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Green started the inning by allowing a double but then struck out Joey Loperfido and Trey Cabbage before getting Jose Altuve to fly out to end the game. It was just his 3rd save of the season, but the veteran has been tremendous with a 1.37 ERA. With Yimi Garcia nearing his return, Green may not see many more save opportunities, but he’s worth rostering in the meantime. Rotoworld 57 minutes ago

    • Duran earns 13th save in win over Tigers
Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Duran now has 13 saves on the season, as he lowered his WHIP in the year to 0.98 thanks to a solid frame against the Tigers, in which he struck out one batter. Duran needed just 13 pitches to get through the inning and has converted four of his last five save opportunities. Rotoworld Today, 8:03 pm

    • Hoffman picks up surprise save vs. Cubs
Jeff Hoffman pitched a scoreless ninth inning to pick up his seventh in Tuesday’s win over the Cubs.

Advice: The Phillies entered the ninth inning with a comfortable 6-1 lead but saw that lead slip to 6-4 after reliever José Ruiz failed to record an out while allowing a three-run homer to Seiya Suzuki. Hoffman ended up being tasked with putting out the fire and went on to strike out two of the three batters he faced. Rotoworld Today, 8:00 pm
    • Wesneski allows five earned in loss to Phillies
Hayden Wesneski allowed five hits and five earned runs over five innings while striking out seven in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Things couldn’t have gone much worse for Wesneski, who allowed a season-high five runs on Tuesday against the Phillies. Shortstop Trea Turner was responsible for the majority of that damage, as he took Wesneski deep twice while driving in three runs. Wesneski has struck out seven batters in back-to-back games and will carry a 4.14 ERA into his next start, which is set for Sunday against the Angels. Rotoworld Today, 7:48 pm

    • Alexis Díaz earns a save in win over Yankees
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in a 5-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Díaz has now converted 11 straight save chances and has pitched to a 1.98 ERA in 14 2/3 innings over that stretch. However, some of the early command issues remain as Díaz has a 13.2 percent walk rate over that same span. He may remain volatile given his subpar command and he doesn’t miss as many bats as your typical closer, but he remains locked into the closer’s role on a solid team and will continue to rack up saves. • Doval picks up 15th save in win over Braves
Camilo Doval pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

Advice: Doval now has 14 saves on the season and has allowed just one run since his four-run implosion against the Angels back in mid-June. The veteran closer continues to be a reliable closer out of the bullpen, but and has hopefully put a tough June behind him. Rotoworld Today, 7:29 pm
