    • Staying put in Triple-A
Palacios will not be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It had been previously reported Tuesday that Palacios was bound for the majors, but the team will instead keep him in Indianapolis for now. The 28-year-old outfielder has missed two months of the season due to an injury, but he's posted a .934 OPS since returning from the IL on June 11. If his bat continues to stay hot, it's possible he still gets the call to Pittsburgh at some point -- especially if Jack Suwinski and Michael Taylor continue to struggle in the big leagues. • Homers in win
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in a 7-6 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Freeman singled and scored in the fifth inning and added a two-run home run in the sixth. The 25-year-old slashed a miserable .167/.268/.264 in June but got off on the right foot in July with his first home run since June 9. On the season, he is slashing .211/.306/.343 with seven home runs, 30 RBI, 41 runs scored and eight steals over 291 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

    • Homer, three hits in loss
Suwinski went 3-for-3 with a three-run home run in a 7-4 loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: Suwinski singled in the third inning and put the Pirates on the board with a three-run home run in the fifth. He later added another single in the seventh to stay perfect at the plate Tuesday. This was the outfielder's first three-hit effort of the season and his first home run since June 14. On the year, he is hitting a lowly .180 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored and five steals over 225 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 58 minutes ago

    • Spencer Horwitz homers in win
Spencer Horwitz went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The rookie hit two balls over 100 mph tonight with a 102.6 mph lineout and then a 101.6 mph home run that went 377 feet for his third home run of the season. It took a bit of time for the Blue Jays to play Horwitz regularly, but he has been starting against all right-handed pitchers of late and is hitting .306/.442/.500 in 22 MLB games. He hits second every time he plays and should continue to post strong batting averages and on-base percentages. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago

    • Lowe homers twice off Cease in win over Padres
Nathaniel Lowe went 2-for-4 with four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: Lowe put the Rangers on the board in the bottom of the first inning when he sent a two-run homer into the stands off Padres starter Dylan Cease. It was just Lowe’s fifth homer of the season, but the veteran first baseman has now hit safely in three straight games while driving in six runs and homering twice over that span. Lowe got to Cease again in the third inning when he hit another two-run blast to push the Rangers’ lead to 5-0, and now has 33 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:38 pm

    • Nursing head injury
Bader said after Tuesday's win over Washington that he was removed from the game after hitting his head/neck on the outfield wall, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bader ran into the outfield wall while trying to make a catch during the third inning and had to be taken out of the game shortly afterward. He cleared all medical tests following the incident and said he's hopeful to return to action Wednesday. The 30-year-old entered Tuesday's contest slashing .265/.306/.529 with two home runs over his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:30 pm

    • Soler hits 10th homer of season to down Braves
Jorge Soler went 1-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

Advice: Soler hit his 10th homer of the season on Tuesday night when he hit a 407-foot shot off Reynaldo López to give the Giants their first run of the game. Soler has now hit in three straight games and has driven in three RBI over that span while tallying five extra-base hits. The recent power surge is an encouraging sign for the veteran DH, who entered the day slashing .230/.311/.398. Rotoworld Today, 7:26 pm

    • Margot has two-hit night, homers in win vs. Tigers
Manuel Margot went 2-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Margot tied the game at 3-3 when he sent his third homer of the season into the stands. Margot has now hit safely in three of his last four games and has homered twice over the last week. With that said, we won’t expect a sudden power surge from a veteran who has never hit more than 13 homers in a season.

    • Hits first 2024 home run
Kreidler went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Twins.

Advice: It was a rare display of power for Kreidler, who hit his first home run since the 2022 season. The utility man has been seeing more time at shortstop recently with Javier Baez (back) on the injured list, though Zach McKinstry has the slight edge in playing time at the moment. Neither player is a great offensive option, and fantasy managers can mostly look elsewhere, particularly with Baez beginning a rehab assignment Tuesday and likely back soon.
