    • May need another rehab start
Woo (hamstring) threw 45 pitches and allowed two runs on a hit with two walks and two strikeouts over 2.2 innings during his rehab start with High-A Everett on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old rejoined the Mariners on Sunday, but manager Scott Servais was non-committal on whether the right-hander will require an additional rehab outing. The club wants Woo to be able to cover at least four or five innings before being reinserted into the big-league rotation, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's sent on another rehab outing to further build up his workload before being activated. • Shohei Ohtani swipes two bags in loss to Brewers
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-5 and stole a pair of bases as the Dodgers fell to the Brewers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

Advice: Ohtani smacked a one-out single off of Dallas Keuchel in the third inning then proceeded to swipe second and third base before getting stranded there. He has now eclipsed the 20-steal plateau for the third time in his career and has already matched his total from the 2023 season. The 30-year-old superstar is slashing .314/.399/.637 with 28 homers, 65 RBI and 20 stolen bases through his first 88 games with the Dodgers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:08 pm

    • Steady in no-decision
Arrighetti allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: While Arrighetti put too much traffic on the basepaths, he was able to limit the damage. Christian Vazquez drove in both runs on Arrighetti's line with an RBI single in the second and a fielder's choice in the fourth. Arrighetti has had a couple of stumbles lately, completing five innings in just three of his last six starts. He's now at a 5.96 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 86:41 K:BB through 74 innings over 16 starts for the year. The rookie right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Rangers. • Sean Manaea strong again across six innings
Sean Manaea shut the Pirates out over six innings on Sunday. He struck out six, walked three, and allowed just two hits.

Advice: Manaea had a rocky start to this game going to multiple three-ball counts in the first inning and throwing 40 pitches total over the first two. Then, he locked in and faced just two batters over the minimum over the rest of his outing. The Pirates had zero left-handed batters in their lineup against the southpaw Manaea and he responded with a heavy diet of sinkers and sweepers. He seemed to make an adjustment with his sweeper too: it was down two ticks and had significantly more depth than usual. He even said, “it felt more like a curveball today” when talking about the pitch after the game. It all worked and Manaea has allowed just one earned run across his last three starts. • Spencer Arrighetti solid in no decision
Spencer Arrighetti allowed two runs on seven hits in five innings in a no-decision against the Twins.

Advice: Arrighetti struck out six and walked two on the day. It was a solid effort overall for the rookie, who had 12 whiffs on 49 swings for a 24 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. However, his ERA stands at 5.96 on the season, and his days in the starting rotation could be numbered with both Justin Verlander and Luis Garcia likely to return after the All-Star break. Arrighetti’s start against the Rangers next week may be his last for a while, so it’s safe to cut him from most fantasy rosters for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:16 pm
    • Logs another quality start
Manaea yielded two hits, three walks and struck out six over six shutout frames but did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Manaea had another strong outing, picking up back-to-back quality starts for the first time since 2022. The left-hander did not allow a hit until two outs in the fourth, when Ke'Bryan Hayes reached on an infield hit. Unfortunately, Manaea did not get much run support, which continues a common theme with him since he's still at five wins this season despite allowing three runs or fewer in 14 of his 17 starts.  Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:11 pm
    • Tallies three hits, RBI
Kim went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to Arizona.

Advice: Kim opened the bottom of the fifth with a leadoff double and eventually advanced to third before being left stranded. However, he came right back with hits in each of his next two trips to the plate, driving home Donovan Solano with a double in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4. It marked Kim's second three-hit performance this season and his 13th multi-hit game overall. The shortstop has now hit safely in 11 of his last 14 games, though he's still batting just .222 (4-for-18) through five games in July. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:55 am

    • Sent out to Triple-A
The Guardians optioned Allen to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Chris Assenheimer of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Advice: Allen is the second member of the Guardians' Opening Day rotation to be sent to Columbus within a week, as Triston McKenzie was previously dispatched to the minors last Sunday. Though he's stayed healthy all season, Allen has struggled mightily to build on a solid 2023 rookie campaign, as he's turned in a 5.67 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 76:35 K:BB across 87.1 innings through 18 starts. He'll cede his spot on the 26-man active roster to newly acquired right-hander Spencer Howard, who could end up entering the rotation the next time Allen's turn comes up Thursday in Detroit. • Guardians option Logan Allen to Triple-A
Guardians optioned LHP Logan Allen to Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: Allen is removed from the active roster with Spencer Howard coming to join the team after he was acquired in trade. Allen will likely be back up after the All-Star break, but his shaky pitching results (5.67 ERA) puts his rotation spot in a precarious position. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 am
