    • Headed to Triple-A
Festa was told after Thursday's game that he will be sent to Triple-A St. Paul, The Athletic reports.

Advice: Festa allowed 12 runs over his first 10 major-league innings in two starts, so this isn't a surprise. He'll likely be replaced by a relief pitcher with an official announcement before Friday's game. Chris Paddack could return Monday from the injured list in time to take back the rotation spot Festa occupied. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago

    • Landon Knack gives up three homers in defeat
Landon Knack yielded four runs in 4 1/3 innings Thursday in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Knack struck out six and walked just one tonight, but of the 11 balls put in play against him, seven were hit hard and three ended up as homers. It makes him a scarier play in Philly next time out, especially with Kyle Schwarber likely to be back and Bryce Harper also maybe coming off the IL by then. Rotoworld Today, 9:28 pm
    • JP Sears flummoxes Angels over five frames in win
JP Sears recorded six strikeouts over five shutout innings on Thursday in a win over the Angels.

Advice: Sears wasn’t overpowering, but he managed to limit Los Angeles’ lifeless offense to just a pair of hits and one walk over five frames. The 28-year-old lefty has allowed just three runs over 11 innings in his last two starts after surrendering eight runs over 1 1/3 innings against the Twins back on June 22. He’ll take the ball on Wednesday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park to close out the first half. Rotoworld Today, 5:21 pm

    • Collects 22nd save
Suarez allowed a walk during a scoreless inning of relief Thursday to pick up the save against the Rangers. He struck out one.

Advice: Suarez picked up the save for the second-consecutive day, giving him 22 in 23 opportunities on the season. Suarez has not allowed a run in 32 of his 35 appearances, posting an ERA of 1.02 with a 0.76 WHIP and 33 strikeouts over 35.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 4:59 pm
    • Aaron Civale to make Brewers debut on Friday
Aaron Civale will make his Brewers debut on Friday against the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s a tough assignment right out of the gate for Civale as he’ll take the ball for Friday’s series opener at Dodger Stadium just a few days after being dealt to Brewers from the Rays. The 29-year-old righty holds a pedestrian 5.07 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 84/27 K/BB ratio across 87 innings (17 starts) this season. His addition moves Bryse Wilson to Milwaukee’s bullpen until further notice. Rotoworld Today, 4:22 pm

    • Collects fifth win
Sears (5-7) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out six over five shutout innings to earn the win over the Angels on Thursday.

Advice: Sears wasn't particularly efficient, needing 95 pitches (59 strikes) in this start. It was good enough to snap a six-game winless skid. During that span, he had a 7.28 ERA over 29.2 innings and went 0-4. Sears is now at a 4.74 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 68:30 K:BB through 95 innings over 18 starts this year. He's projected to make his next start on the road at Boston. Rotowire.com Today, 4:06 pm

    • Robert Suarez quiets Rangers to collect 22nd save
Robert Suarez fired a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Rangers to record his 22nd save of the season.

Advice: Suarez came on to face the bottom of the Rangers’ lineup in the final frame with a two-run lead in hand and immediately got into trouble by issuing a leadoff walk to rookie sensation Wyatt Langford. Fortunately, he was able to get Leody Taveras to ground into a fielder’s choice before striking out Travis Jankowski and coaxing a game-ending ground out from Jonah Heim. He’s converted a staggering 22 of 23 save opportunities this season and figures to be named to the senior circuit’s All-Star Game roster in the coming days. Rotoworld Today, 2:12 pm
    • Twins option prospect David Festa back to minors
Twins optioned RHP David Festa to Triple-A St. Paul.

Advice: Festa heads back to the minors after allowing a whopping 12 runs on 16 hits with an 8/1 K/BB ratio across 10 innings in a pair of starts after being called up. The 24-year-old top pitching prospect will head back to Triple-A for some additional seasoning, but he’s certainly talented enough to make a tangible impact for fantasy managers at some point in the near future. • Smacks 14th homer
Reynolds went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Reynolds took Andre Pallante deep on the first pitch of the fourth, providing the only run for the Pirates until the 10th inning. Reynolds has found his power stroke of late, with six of his 14 home runs this season coming over his last 18 games. He's carried a hot bat since the beginning of June, slashing .319/.372/.588 with seven homers and 18 RBI over his last 29 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 12:43 pm
