    • Lively strikes out five in loss to Royals Thursday
Ben Lively allowed two runs in six innings and took the loss against the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Lively gave up six hits, walked one and struck out five. He continues to pitch pretty well, but the Guardians only provided one run in support of his effort. Lively has a 3.03 ERA on the season. The 32-year-old right-hander is set to face the White Sox at home next week.

    • Bryan De La Cruz plates three in win over Phillies
Bryan De La Cruz smacked a game-tying three-run double on Thursday, leading the Marlins to a 7-4 victory over the Phillies.

Advice: De La Cruz walloped a bases-clearing double to left-center field off Phillies lefty reliever Matt Strahm in the seventh inning to spark Miami to a come-from-behind victory. The 27-year-old corner outfielder figures to be a popular name at the trade deadline in a few weeks as he’s in the midst of the best year of his career with a .722 OPS along with 14 homers through 80 games. • Excluded from lineup
Suarez is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Twins.

Advice: Suarez had started each of the previous eight games but went just 2-for-24 over that stretch to drop his season-long batting line down to .192/.274/.312. The Diamondbacks will give Kevin Newman a start at third base Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:03 am
    • Secures 14th save
Doval picked up the save over the Cubs on Wednesday, allowing one hit over a scoreless ninth inning while striking out one.

Advice: Doval entered the contest with a one-run lead in the ninth and surrendered a leadoff single to Dansby Swanson before retiring the next three batters in succession to secure his 14th save of the campaign. The right-hander has now converted each of his last five save attempts and has allowed only one baserunner over his last three appearances. Doval has also posted at least one strikeout in three consecutive outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:11 am

    • Tagged early in loss
Fedde (5-3) took the loss against the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk over six innings while striking out five.

Advice: Fedde got off to a rough start, surrendering a leadoff home run to Shohei Ohtani to open the game before getting tagged for another three runs in the third. The right-handed veteran would allow just one more hit over his final three frames, but the damage had already been done as the White Sox's offense failed to provide any run support. Fedde has now gone at least six innings in four consecutive starts and hasn't walked more than one batter in any of his six outings this month. He currently holds a 25:3 K:BB in June to go along with a 3.48 ERA. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:34 am

    • Goes deep in win
O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: O'Hearn snapped a 13-game homer drought with his eighth-inning blast. While his power wasn't present in that stretch, the designated hitter went 13-for-46 (.283) with 11 RBI. O'Hearn continues to excel in a strong-side platoon role, posting a .284/.340/.470 slash line with 10 homers, 33 RBI, 28 runs scored and three stolen bases over 235 plate appearances this year, with his success fueled by a career-low 10.2-percent strikeout rate. Camilo Doval struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: Doval was summoned to close out the game with a one-run lead in the ninth inning. He gave up a leadoff single, but stranded the runner with a strikeout, fly out, and a groundout to secure the win and lock down his 14th save. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:15 pm

    • Erick Fedde surrenders four runs in loss to Dodgers
Erick Fedde allowed four runs with five strikeouts over six innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Fedde served up a solo homer to Shohei Ohtani to lead off the first inning. He retired the next six batters before loading the bases with no outs in the third. Teoscar Hernandez drove a run in on a sacrifice fly before Freddie Freeman cleared the bases with a double. Fedde tossed three more scoreless frames, ending his day after six with five strikeouts. The 31-year-old right-hander will take a 3.23 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 91/25 K/BB ratio across 100 1/3 innings into a start against the Guardians in Cleveland on Tuesday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:22 pm
