• Recalled from Triple-A
The Twins recalled Henriquez from Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday.

Advice: Henriquez tossed two scoreless frames in his lone appearance with the Twins earlier this season and boasts a 3.52 ERA and 37:10 K:BB across 38.1 innings with St. Paul. He's likely to be deployed in the middle of games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:45 am
  • Twins recall Ronny Henriquez from Triple-A
Twins recalled RHP Ronny Henriquez from Triple-A St. Paul.

Advice: Henriquez, 24, will take the roster spot of Chris Paddack with Paddack placed on the injured list with right arm fatigue. The right-hander will be a fresh bullpen arm, but Minnesota will need to make another transaction to replace Paddack when his turn in the rotation comes up. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:33 am
  • Yu Darvish has sore elbow, won’t return Tuesday
Yu Darvish is dealing with elbow inflammation will not return to the Padres rotation on Tuesday.

Advice: This is a new problem for Darvish, who has been out since June 1 with a strained groin, but the Padres are hopeful it’ll be only a minor setback. Adam Mazur will take his place Tuesday against the Nationals. Rotoworld Monday, 3:58 pm

  • Dealing with elbow inflammation
Padres manager Mike Shildt said Monday that Darvish (groin) won't be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday versus the Nationals due to "a little" right elbow inflammation, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Darvish had been slated to return from close to a month-long absence with a groin injury, but it's an elbow issue that will delay his activation even further. Shildt's wording would seem to suggest that Darvish is dealing with a minor setback, but a return to the rotation next week isn't guaranteed, especially after Darvish missed the final month of last season with a bone spur in the elbow. Adam Mazur was recalled from Triple-A El Paso and will start Tuesday. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:55 pm

  • Getting day off against lefty
Benintendi is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Benintendi and fellow left-handed hitters Gavin Sheets and Nicky Lopez will hit the bench as the White Sox go with an all-right-handed-hitting lineup versus Dodgers southpaw James Paxton. Corey Julks will replace Benintendi in left field and will bat seventh. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:32 pm
  • Taking seat against lefty
Lopez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Lopez and fellow left-handed hitters Gavin Sheets and Andrew Benintendi will hit the bench as the White Sox go with an all-right-handed-hitting lineup versus Dodgers southpaw James Paxton. Danny Mendick will replace Lopez at second base and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:29 pm

  • On bench Monday, could sit vs. RHPs
Sheets is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Sheets will hit the bench while the Dodgers send southpaw James Paxton to the mound. Sheets had started the previous five games while the White Sox faced off against right-handed pitchers, but he'll likely begin to sit out some of those matchups more frequently after Chicago returned Eloy Jimenez from the injured list Sunday. With Jimenez occupying the designated-hitter spot, Andrew Vaughn locked in at first base and Andrew Benintendi and Tommy Pham serving as the White Sox's primary starters in the corner outfield, all four of Sheets' avenues for regular playing time would seem to be blocked. • Red Sox place Connor Wong on Paternity List
Red Sox placed C Connor Wong on the Paternity List.

Advice: Congratulations to Connor. He will miss the first half of this week and should be removed from all weekly lineup leagues. Tyler Heineman was called up in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Monday, 12:35 pm
  • Red Sox promote Isaiah Campbell from Triple-A
Red Sox recalled RHP Isaiah Campbell from Triple-A Worcester.

Advice: The Red Sox used eight relievers in Sunday’s game, so they needed a shakeup before the start of the Blue Jays series. Campbell was an important addition for the Red Sox in the offseason, but he struggled to start the season before landing on the IL. Since coming back, he has been solid in Triple-A, posting a 2.19 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 18/3 K/BB ratio in 12 1/3 innings. There’s a chance he could pitch his way back into a key role in the Red Sox bullpen as the summer goes on. Rotoworld Monday, 12:33 pm
