      Advice: Bogaerts, who was at designated hitter on Thursday in his rehab assignment debut, is working his way back from a fractured left shoulder that sent him to the injured list back on May 20. The 31-year-old figures to return as San Diego’s primary option at the keystone, but could wind up bouncing around between several positions moving forward.       Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and two strikeouts in Thursday's 3-2 over the Pirates.

      Advice: Goldschmidt had two hits and a steal in Wednesday's contest, and with another swipe Thursday, it became the 13th time in his career he's recorded stolen bases in back-to-back games. The 2022 NL MVP got off to a rough start this season with two home runs and .530 OPS through 37 games, but he's turned it around nicely since the middle of May.       Advice: Kwan hit a solo homer off Jared Shuster in the third inning to give Cleveland a 2-1 lead. That’s the eighth homer of the season for the 26-year-old, who is enjoying a sensational 2024 season to put it mildly.
