      Advice: Spence was tagged for six runs over 5.1 innings in his last start, which was also against the Angels. He bounced back this time, limiting the damage on his line to a Nolan Schanuel sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Spence is still looking for consistency as a starter, but he has been able to complete at least five frames in each of his last seven outings. He's at a 4.15 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 61:17 K:BB over 73.2 innings through 20 appearances (nine starts) overall. The 26-year-old is projected for a tough home start versus the Orioles this weekend.       Mitch Spence was terrific in Tuesday night’s victory over the Angels, allowing just one run on six hits over his 5 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: Spence piled up five strikeouts on the night while allowing only one base on balls. The lone tally against him came in the fifth inning as Nolan Schanuel plated Brandon Drury with a sacrifice fly. Spence generated nine swings and misses on 94 pitches on the night — four each on his cutter and slider — while posting an underwhelming CSW of 21 percent.       Dallas Keuchel pitched well in a no-decision against the Rockies on Tuesday night, allowing just two runs on four hits across 5 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: The 36-year-old southpaw racked up five strikeouts on the evening while issuing a pair of free passes. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning as Brenton Doyle slugged a solo homer and Michael Toglia added a sacrifice fly. Aside from that though, Keuchel was terrific at Coors Field. He got eight swings and misses on 78 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 23 percent.       Ryan Feltner delivered a strong start in a no-decision against the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing one run on six hits over his five frames.

      Advice: The right-hander punched out three batters on the evening while allowing a pair of walks. The lone tally against him came in the second inning on an RBI single off the bat of Sal Frelick. The Brewers then loaded the bases with two outs in the inning, but the 27-year-old hurler got Brice Turang to ground out to end the threat. Feltner generated seven swings and misses on 83 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 29 percent.       Advice: Bellozo generated a solid 12 swinging strikes on 98 pitches and has walked just one batter over 10 major-league innings. He was burned by two rough frames, allowing a two-run single in the first and a three-run home run in the fourth.       Advice: Carrasco allowed a solo home run in the first inning and a two-run home run in the sixth but threw four scoreless frames in between. He registered an impressive 10 swinging strikes on 70 pitches and has logged quality starts in two of his past three outings.       Advice: Flexen entered the sixth inning in a 3-3 tie but an error by Paul DeJong led to three unearned runs before he finished the frame at 101 pitches. It wasn't the most appealing quality start, but Flexen has now logged two in his past three outings. The 30-year-old has not recorded a win since May 8 and owns a 5.08 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 63:33 K:BB over 85 innings. He lines up for a road matchup with the Marlins this weekend.       Advice: Things couldn’t have gone much worse for Wesneski, who allowed a season-high five runs on Tuesday against the Phillies. Shortstop Trea Turner was responsible for the majority of that damage, as he took Wesneski deep twice while driving in three runs.       Advice: He struck out five and walked four on the day while also allowing two home runs. He induced just six whiffs on the day for a 15 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW. The rookie now has a 6.13 ERA on the season and with Luis Garcia continuing to progress on his rehab assignment, there may be only a few more starts left for Arrighetti at the big league level in 2024.
