      Advice: Diaz tagged Pirates starter Paul Skenes early, depositing the first pitch of the game off the foul pole in right field for his sixth homer of the season. He later led off the eighth with his third hit, which eventually saw pinch runner Jose Caballero cross the plate with the go-ahead run. Diaz extended his hitting streak to 16 games in the process, collecting his ninth multiple-hit effort during that stretch and fourth multi-hit game over the last five.       Advice: The first baseman remains stuck in a 32-game power drought -- he launched his last home run May 14 -- but Lowe found a way to contribute. The steal was his second of the season, and while he did pilfer a career-high eight bags in 2021, he's managed only five stolen bases in 373 games since then.       Advice: Lowe did most of his damage in the sixth inning when he hit a ground-rule double and came around to score the go-ahead run. He entered Friday's game in an 8-for-42 (.190) slump over 12 appearances since his last multi-hit performance June 5. He hit .343 through 18 games to begin his 2024 campaign but has since gone 25-for-118 (.212). For the season, Lowe is slashing .259/.352/.346 with 12 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored.       Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored as the Rangers defeated the Royals in Arlington.

      Advice: Lowe singled to help along a Rangers’ rally in the fourth inning, but he was ultimately cut down at the plate attempting to score. The 28-year-old first baseman then doubled in the sixth inning and scored the go-ahead run on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Jonah Heim.       Yandy Diaz hit a two-run homer and doubled in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Thursday.

      Advice: Diaz absolutely clobbered a two-run homer that went an estimated 439 feet to extend the Rays’ lead to 6-2 in the ninth. It turns out the Rays would need those runs, as Minnesota scored four to tie it in the bottom half of the frame.       Bellinger went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

      Advice: It was a solid all-around effort for Bellinger, who snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over the previous two games. Overall, the 28-year-old is slashing a respectable .264/.323/.435, though those numbers are down across the board from his stellar 2023 campaign.
