The home run was McCormick’s first of the season but was a no-doubted, hit 428 feet at 106.5 mph. He’s battled through injuries this year and is hitting just .209 on the season, but Jake Meyers has also started to struggle, so there is a chance that McCormick could push for more playing time if he can start swinging the bat well.       George Springer went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, and one RBI in the Blue Jays’ 5-0 win over the Guardians on Saturday.

      Advice: Springer brought the first run in to score for the Blue Jays, knocking a base hit in the second inning before scoring on a single by Spencer Horwitz. Springer then drew a walk to lead off the fourth and cross home plate to score on a single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa. The 27-year-old missed the first month of the season with a UCL sprain, so he's likely set to miss more than the minimum 15 days and could be out until after the All-Star break. Left-hander Nick Vespi was called up from Triple-A Norfolk to replace Bradish on Baltimore's major-league roster in a corresponding move Saturday.       Advice: Not good. Bradish is slated to undergo further testing after lasting just five innings on Friday night before exiting after just 74 pitches. He was spotted shaking his elbow throughout the contest on a night where his velocity was up significantly from previous levels. The biggest concern here for fantasy managers is that the 27-year-old righty is roughly six weeks removed from returning from a UCL sprain in his right elbow that caused him to miss all of spring training and the opening month of the season. There should be an update on his status in the coming days and it seems highly likely that he could wind up requiring another trip to the injured list.
