    • Throwing live BP Monday
Gallen (hamstring) is expected to throw a live batting practice session Monday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It was reported last week that Gallen would throw a simulated game early this week, but it looks like he'll throw a live BP session instead. If all goes well, the right-hander could be activated in time for the series against Oakland that begins Friday. Gallen has thrown one sim game already followed by a pair of bullpen sessions. • Stays hot at plate
Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles, a run scored and two stolen bases during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Burleson generated multiple hits for the third consecutive contest, building on a two-homer effort Saturday with a pair of RBI on Sunday. After stealing just two bases in his first 67 games, Burleson has swiped three in the past two contests and took second base on both of his hits. The outfielder is 24-for-83 (.289) in June and ranks in the top 10 in MLB in both runs scored and homers during the month. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:49 pm

    • Fans eight in loss
Webb (6-6) took the loss Sunday against St. Louis, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Webb struggled early, yielding two doubles and two singles as part of a three-run first inning before surrendering another run in the second frame. While Webb settled in afterward, the damage was already done, as the Giants failed to generate a hit until the seventh inning. The 27-year-old has completed six innings in nine consecutive starts and matched his season high in strikeouts Sunday. He's one of five players with 100 innings pitched this season and owns a 3.16 ERA and a 91:23 K:BB. Webb is scheduled for a home start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Alec Burleson has two hits, two SB in win
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two steals in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Burleson had an RBI single in the first inning and then another RBI single in the second to give him 32 RBI on the season. The two swipes also gave him five on the year to go along with a .385/.319/.469 slash line. He hits near the top of the lineup pretty much every day and needs to be rostered in more leagues. • Webb recovers from rough start in loss
Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Nick Lodolo takes first loss since May
Nick Lodolo lost to the Red Sox after yielding four runs — three earned — in 4 2/3 innings Sunday.

Advice: Lodolo hadn’t allowed more than two runs in winning five straight starts since returning from the IL, but he didn’t have quite the same stuff today. With his curveball a little off, he settled for seven missed swings in the 77-pitch outing. He also walked four. He’ll look to start a new winning streak next weekend against the Cardinals; that’s the team he beat a month ago to begin the one that concluded today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:30 pm

    • Limited by blister
Lodolo was limited Sunday versus the Red Sox as a result of a blister on his left index finger, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Lodolo tossed 4.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out three batters against Boston. The left-hander was tagged with the loss, while the four free passes were a season high, which is likely the result of the blister on his throwing hand. Following the contest, Lodolo said that "the feeling for the ball was not the same," but that it's "not impacting him a ton," so it's possible he'll be ready to go for his next start. The 26-year-old is tentatively set to return to the mound Friday in St. Louis, but his status will be worth monitoring in the coming days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:27 pm

    • Pete Fairbanks perfect in earning 11th save
Pete Fairbanks notched his 11th save with a scoreless ninth versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks struck out one while protecting a two-run lead. The closer had allowed single runs in three of his previous four appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
    • Paul Skenes strong for seven against Rays
Paul Skenes was uninvolved in the decision Sunday after allowing one run in seven innings and striking out eight against the Rays.

Advice: The homer off the bat of Yandy Díaz led off the game. The Rays had no further luck, though, at least not until Skenes left the game to begin the eighth. It’s the first time in eight big-league starts that Skenes has gotten through seven. He still hasn’t taken a loss, and his ERA stands at 2.14. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
