    • Improving at plate
Tellez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Reds.

Advice: Tellez led off the fourth inning with his third home run of the season, two of which have come in his last 14 games. He's been productive in that span by going 17-for-48 with eight RBI and seven runs scored. Though it's been a positive stretch for Tellez, he still has just a .617 OPS for the season with a .324 slugging percentage. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:03 am
    • Smashes grand slam
Bauers went 1-for-4 with a grand slam during Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Rangers in 10 innings.

Advice: Bauers got the Brewers on the board in the third inning, plating Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich and Willy Adames on a grand slam off Nathan Eovaldi. The grand slam was the second of Bauers' career. Though he's been splitting time with Rhys Hoskins at first base, Bauers is batting .273 with nine RBI and seven runs in his last 18 games. • Jake Bauers delivers grand slam in Brewers’ win
Jake Bauers hit a grand slam off Nathan Eovaldi as the Brewers edged the Rangers 6-5 in 10 innings Wednesday.

Advice: Midgame replacement Andruw Monasterio delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th. It was a little surprising to see Bauers start over Tyler Black today, but Pat Murphy seems to have made the right call. Bauers’ 444-foot slam was the first ever surrendered by Eovaldi. It was the second of his career, and his seventh homer in 192 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:18 pm

    • Held out again Wednesday
Drury (illness) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Drury hasn't played in more than a week due to an upper-respiratory virus. The Angels have resisted placing him on the 10-day injured list thus far, and the team hasn't provided an indication that it has changed its stance, so consider Drury day-to-day. Luis Rengifo will cover second base Wednesday in Drury's stead. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:39 am

    • Regaining playing time
Bauers will start at first base and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Bauers will be included in the lineup for the second game in a row and for the third time in four games after producing three hits over his prior two starts. The 29-year-old is still getting on base at a lowly .279 clip for the season, so despite seeing his playing time trend upward of late, he's hardly locked into an everyday role for Milwaukee. • Swipes first bag of season
Tellez went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Reds.

Advice: The burly first baseman stole the fourth bag of his career, and his first since 2022, in the first inning as the Pirates grabbed an early 3-0 lead. Tellez has been enjoying his strong-side platoon role in June -- through 59 plate appearances this month, he's slashing .352/.407/.500 with five doubles, a homer, six runs and 11 RBI. • Remains out of lineup
Lowe (toe) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will miss out on a fourth consecutive start as he deals with a fractured right pinky toe. The plan still seems to be for Lowe to attempt to play through the injury, and perhaps he'll be ready to do so Friday against the Nationals following the Rays' off day Thursday. • Brendan Rodgers drives in one in loss to Astros
Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rodgers was responsible for two of the Rockies’ six hits on the night and drove in their only run when he plated Brenton Doyle in the eighth inning. Rodgers pushed his hitting streak to eight games in this one and is now slashing a sizzling .353/.343/.676 on the month with seven extra-base hits and nine RBI. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:58 pm
    • Nick Gordon scores game-winning run vs. Royals
Nick Gordon went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Gordon’s RBI single in the seventh inning tied the game at 1-1, giving the Marlins life after being shut down by Seth Lugo for six innings. Gordon’s single paved the way for him to later score on an RBI single by Jazz Chisholm, which was enough for the Marlins to earn a surprise win over the Royals. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:48 pm
