    Commish Updates

      Draft:
The draft will be an offline draft held on our message board. Each team will have a pick in every round unless they have traded picks away. Draft order will be determined by the previous season's final standings. Each team will have a full 24 hours to make a pick. If no pick is made in the allotted time your pick for that round will be pushed back to the end of the round. If you have a time conflict please email me ahead of time and I will do my best to make adjustments. If a manager is M.I.A. for more than 3 picks they will be subject to replacement pending league vote.

      Roster (Majors):
Rosters will consist only of players whom entered the league from 2010 to present (1 AB or 1 appearance counts). Each year we will hold a rookie draft before the season starts. Each team has 10 bench spots available. Bench spots can be distributed however the manager likes but the manager must still have 2 players with position eligibility at each position between their starters and bench. Players can be used for multiple positions unlike how it has been thus far where they were only designated to one position. Each team has 10 bench spots that must be split up to 4 pitchers and 6 batters. Otherwise their are no requirements. Players on DL must be activated within 1 week of their real life activation. If they are not activated within 1 week, that player will be removed from your team.

      Roster (Minors):
Each team will have a 10 man minors team that only players with the NA designation will be eligible for. If a player loses the NA designation at some point during the season you will still be able to keep that player. That being said you will only be able to stash him in your minors until next season at which point you will need to decide whether to promote him or release him. Should you want to use that player in your majors team you can add him by demoting a majors player with the NA designation or by dropping a majors player.

      Free Agency:
Free ageny will be continuous throughout the season. If you would like to pick up a player in free agency you must reply to the Free Agency post on the league's message board with the player's name, position and MLB team. If nobody else tries to claim the particular player after 24 hours then that player will be awarded to your team. If multiple teams express interest in a particular player then the player will be awarded to the team with the lower overall standing. Each team will have a max of 1 free agent addition per week. There will be no free agent acquisitions during the offseason.

      Trades:
Any trade must be posted under the Trade topic on the message board. Both managers must state that they agree to the trade. The trade will then have a 3 day review period. Each manager is encouraged to vote on the trade (other than the managers involved in the trade of course). If you vote no on a trade please state your reasoning. At the end of the 3 day review period I will look at the voting results. If majority votes yes then the trade will be processed on Monday. If majority votes no the trade will not be processed. If it is a tie I as league commissioner will make the final decision.
