Hader yielded four runs on four hits and a walk in Monday's loss to Atlanta. He recorded one out via strikeout.

Advice: Hader entered the game in a non-save situation with Atlanta leading 2-1. He put five straight runners on base and threw a wild pitch, resulting in four runs to be charged against him. The All-Star closer has not yet found any consistency in his first season with Houston; Hader has just one save with a 9.39 ERA through 7.2 frames. Rotowire.com Today, 8:25 pm

    • Josh Hader gives up four, gets one out against ATL
Josh Hader gave up four runs while getting just one out in a relief appearance against Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: On top of allowing four runs, this outing came in a non-save situation, so fantasy managers who roster Hader have the right to be doubly perturbed by how the southpaw pitched. Some of the damage occurred after the 30-year-old exited the game, but to say he was deserving of a poor result is an understatement. Hader should be fine, but fantasy managers will need a load of scoreless innings in order to make up for this one. Rotoworld Today, 8:18 pm

    • Francisco Lindor tallies two hits in Mets’ victory
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk on Monday in the Mets’ 6-3 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Lindor continues to slowly snap out of an early-season spiral at the plate with his second straight multi-hit performance and has notched at least one hit in six of his last eight contests since April 7. It’s going to take awhile for the 30-year-old superstar shortstop’s surface stats to rebound, but it’s a relief for fantasy managers that he’s starting to show signs of life at the dish again after a tough two-week stretch at the outset of the year. • Jhoan Duran (oblique) throwing bullpen Tuesday
Jhoan Duran (oblique) will throw a bullpen before Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: If Duran comes out clean from that bullpen Tuesday, the right-hander could begin to face live hitters. The 26-year-old has missed all of 2024 while dealing with an oblique strain. Assuming he continues to make progress, he should be able to help the Twins as their stopper near the beginning of May. Rotoworld Today, 2:40 pm

    • Could face hitters soon
Duran (oblique) will throw another bullpen session Tuesday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Advice: He threw his first bullpen session since his oblique strain on Friday, and if he gets through that with no issues he could be cleared for live batting practice sessions. Duran would figure to require at least a couple live BP sessions before beginning a rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Today, 2:39 pm

Crawford didn't not factor into the decision, allowing two hits and striking out six over 5.2 scoreless innings during Monday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Crawford did more than enough to earn the win, but he left with the game still scoreless as the Red Sox bats also couldn't muster anything against Cleveland starter Xzavion Curry. It was the third time in four starts that Crawford did not allow an earned run and he's now allowed only one earned run over 21.1 innings this season. Crawford now sports a miniscule 0.42 ERA and 0.80 WHIP with 24 strikeouts against eight walks but despite those impressive numbers remains winless on the season. His next opportunity to pick up his first win is tentatively slated to come this weekend on the road against the surprising Pirates. Rotowire.com Today, 2:33 pm

    • Going through dead arm phase
Marlins manager Skip Schumaker said Monday that Garrett (shoulder) experienced a "dead arm" after his last bullpen session, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Advice: It is not related to the left shoulder injury which has kept Garrett out all season, but it nonetheless could prevent the left-hander from making his season debut this week. The southpaw threw 86 pitches in his last rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville and his return to the Marlins' rotation appeared imminent. Garrett will undergo testing on his arm just to be safe. • Poised to return this week
Garrett (shoulder) struck out four and allowed four earned runs on six hits and and zero walks across six innings in his latest rehab start Friday with Triple-A Jacksonville.

Advice: Making his second rehab start at Triple-A, Garrett built up to 86 pitches (59 strikes) and generally executed during his time on the mound, aside from serving up two home runs. Given his high pitch count, Garrett looks to be fully stretched out at this point and ready to return from the 15-day injured list. It's unclear who Garrett might replace in the rotation, as both Max Meyer and Ryan Weathers are less established at the big-league level but have performed well through three starts, while Trevor Rogers (4.80 ERA, 1.87 WHIP over 15 innings) and A.J. Puk (5.91 ERA, 2.44 WHIP in 10.2 innings) have fallen short of expectations. Puk is tentatively slated to start Wednesday's game against the Giants, but he could be moved to the bullpen thereafter if the Marlins want to clear a permanent spot in the five-man rotation for Garrett. If the Marlins don't change plans and have Garrett start for Puk on Wednesday, the former's first start of the season with the big club would likely come this weekend versus the Cubs at Wrigley Field. • Avoids injury
Carroll injured his left wrist after colliding with teammate Jake McCarthy while converging on a flyball Sunday but stayed in the game, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports. He finished out the game, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base.

Advice: Carroll was down on the ground for a bit before jogging off the field. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo confirmed no X-rays were needed, and that Carroll would be in Monday's starting lineup against the Cubs. Rotowire.com Today, 4:44 am
