    Kirby (7-5) allowed one run on four hits while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win Wednesday over the Rays.

    Advice: Kirby had his way with the Rays on Wednesday as he managed to get through six innings for his third win in his last five starts. Kirby has been on a tear, allowing two runs or less in six consecutive starts, posting a 1.70 ERA with three walks and 40 strikeouts in that span.   • Fades late in Tuesday's win
    Keller (9-4) picked up the win in Tuesday's 9-5 victory over the Reds, giving up four runs (three runs) on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

    Advice: An Oneil Cruz error and a hit by pitch helped load the bases in the third inning, but Keller escaped the jam by striking out Jeimer Candelario and Spencer Steer. The right-hander seemed to run out of gas after that, eventually getting tagged for three runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth as he fell short of his 10th quality start of the season. Keller has still allowed more than three earned runs only once in nine outings since the beginning of May, going 7-1 over that stretch with a 1.85 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 52:12 K:BB through 58.1 innings.     India batted leadoff and went 2-for-2 with two walks, two doubles, two steals and three runs scored in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the Pirates.

    Advice: He was also hit by a pitch. India batted leadoff for a second straight game, filling in at the spot normally handled by TJ Friedl, who was added to the 10-day injured list Monday with a hamstring injury. In two games atop the order, India is 5-for-6 with three walks, four doubles, two steals and six runs scored. The two steals lifted him to eight for the season.     Advice: Mountcastle has four multi-hit efforts over his last seven games, going 11-for-28 (.393) in that span. While he hasn't hit a homer since June 7, he's still been consistent at the plate while occupying a starting role at first base.     Westburg went 4-for-4 with a double, one walk and one RBI in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Guardians.

    Advice: Westburg has gone 14-for-42 (.333) with seven extra-base hits and seven RBI over his last 11 contests. He's up to a .283/.337/.516 slash line with 13 homers, 16 doubles, six stolen bases, 46 RBI and 40 runs scored through 73 games this season.     Castillo (6-9) took the loss against the Rays on Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

    Advice: Castillo surrendered a leadoff home run to Yandy Diaz in the first inning and an RBI single to Jose Siri in the second. He responded with three scoreless frames but was pulled after walking two batters in the sixth. Both baserunners scored, resulting in the third time Castillo has yielded at least four earned runs in June.     Jonathan India went 2-for-2 with two walks, three runs scored, and two steals in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

    Advice: India is enjoying a tremendous month of June, going 26-for-72 (.361) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and three steals. India has also been leading off since TJ Friedl went on the IL, which is more good news for his fantasy value.   • Mitch Keller escapes with win over Reds
    Mitch Keller allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits in 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

    Advice: Keller struck out six and walked three on the day; however, he got just eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. Keller’s command was good in this one, which led to 22 called strikes and helped him get through without the most dynamic stuff. He’ll look for a smoother ride against the Cardinals next time out.   • Luis Castillo chased in 6th in loss to Rays
    Luis Castillo allowed four runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

    Advice: The Mariners ace struck out four and walked four on the day. He wasn’t sharp, with just a 44 percent zone rate on the day, but he had kept it together until the sixth inning. With the game tied at two, Castillo got one quick out but walked the next two hitters and was chased from the game. Michael Baumann then allowed a triple and a home run to bring in both inherited runners. Castillo had nine whiffs on 44 swings for a 20 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW on the day. We can probably chalk this up to a poor start, but it’s his second straight one so we’d like to see him right the ship next time out. The only problem is that the start comes against the Orioles.
