• Kyle Tucker out through All-Star Break
According to the Houston Chronicle, Kyle Tucker (shin) and Justin Verlander (neck) will both be out through the All-Star break.

Advice: Tucker’s long absence with a shin bruise will continue. It’s fair to wonder if there’s something more going on here, but Tucker will remain out for at least another two weeks through the All-Star game on July 16th. Both Astros fans and fantasy managers hope that will be enough time to get Tucker back on the field on July 19th. Rotoworld Today, 11:10 am

  • Not starting Thursday
Mountcastle isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Thursday's game versus Seattle.

Advice: Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with an RBI during his first game back from an illness Wednesday, and he'll now get another day to rest against Bryce Miller and the Mariners. Ryan O'Hearn will move to first base as a result, allowing Heston Kjerstad to serve as the DH. Rotowire.com Today, 10:15 am
  • Heading to bench Thursday
Fry is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Fry has a .606 OPS in his past 12 games and will take a seat for Thursday's contest. Jose Ramirez will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Gabriel Arias receives a start at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Today, 9:40 am

  • Out through All-Star break
Astros manager Joe Espada said Thursday that Tucker (lower leg) won't return from the injured list before the All-Star break, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old saw his recovery progress from the lower leg bruise pick up this week, but he won't be back before the midseason festivities. Tucker has been on the injured list nearly a month and could require a rehab assignment before being cleared for major-league action. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 am

  • Anthony Volpe out of the leadoff spot Thursday
Anthony Volpe is batting sixth on Thursday against the Reds.

Advice: It’s the first time since April 10th that Volpe will be in the lineup and not be leading off. However, it appears to be a move that was a long time coming. Since Volpe moved into the leadoff spot, he has had the worst on-base percentage among every Yankees player with at least 250 plate appearances. He also ranks as the third-worst leadoff hitter in baseball with his 87 wRC+. Considering the Yankees’ lead-off hitter bats in front of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge, the team needs somebody who can consistently get on base and be driven in by those two studs. Ben Rice will get that shot on Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 8:16 am

  • Demoted to sixth in batting order
Volpe will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Thursday's game against the Reds.

Advice: It's the first time since April 9 that Volpe has hit anywhere other than leadoff. After a productive first two months of the season, Volpe has slashed just .211/.228/.301 with a 33:3 K:BB over 136 plate appearances since June 1. Ben Rice will get a shot in the leadoff spot Thursday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:12 am

  • Exits starting nine
Wong is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Miami.

Advice: Wong extended his hit streak to 17 games in Wednesday's win over the Marlins, but he'll take a seat for Thursday's matinee. Reese McGuire will be behind the plate for Nick Pivetta. Rotowire.com Today, 6:56 am

  • Hit streak at 17 games
Wong went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: The backstop continued his breakout campaign, hitting safely in his 17th straight game while swiping his fourth bag of the year. Wong is slashing .333/.405/.470 during his hit streak, the longest by a Boston catcher since Victor Martinez put together a 25-game streak in 2009. The only other catcher in Red Sox history with a hitting streak of 17 games or longer is Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk, who reached that number twice between the 1975 and 1976 seasons. • Big effort in win
Greene went 3-for-4 with a triple, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Greene was an offensive force as he recorded his 16th home run of the season and pushed his OPS up to .851. The 23-year-old had already surpassed his previous career best of 11 home runs in a season, and he's now up to a career-high 43 RBI this year as well after Wednesday's effort. Greene could be closing in on his first All-Star appearance, but at the very least he's been a strong fantasy asset who continues to trend upward given his promising skill set.
