Matt Dominguez (quad) was 1-for-3 with a home run Friday in his return to the lineup.
Advice: Dominguez missed two days with a quad injury, but it was never a major concern. The 23-year-old now has five home runs and is batting .247/.389/.670 in 44 games this season.

Jordan Walden (shoulder) threw a bullpen session at Citi Field on Friday.
Advice: If Walden can avoid setbacks, he should be cleared for a rehab assignment and rejoin the Braves at some point next week. With Eric O'Flaherty out for the season, Walden is likely to return in a setup role with Luis Avilan.

Jered Weaver (elbow) is expected to start Wednesday against the Dodgers.
Advice: Weaver, on the disabled list since April 9, will throw a bullpen session Sunday before he's cleared to rejoin the Angels. The Los Angeles Times expects Joe Blanton to lose his rotation spot when Weaver returns.

Brewers placed RHP Jim Henderson on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
Advice: Henderson injured the hamstring during Friday's game, and it turned out to be severe enough to require a trip to the DL. A corresponding roster move will be made on Sunday. There is no indication as to who might save games while Henderson is out. Francisco Rodriguez and John Axford are the primary candidates.

Cameron Maybin (wrist) went 1-for-3 with a single in his first rehab game Friday with Triple-A Tucson.
Advice: Maybin is expected to need around 30 rehab at-bats, so he's on track to return sometime next week. The 26-year-old outfielder has been out since April 15 with a right wrist impingement.

Jeremy Guthrie gave up seven runs (six earned) over seven innings in Saturday's loss to the Angels.
Advice: It was an odd outing for Guthrie, who fell behind in the fourth inning due to an error and an RBI ground out and didn't give up his first hit until Hank Conger connected for a solo homer in the sixth. Josh Hamilton launched a solo shot of his own one inning later while the Angels broke through with four runs in the eighth. After posting a 2.28 ERA over his first seven starts, Guthrie has a 7.91 ERA over his last three outings. He'll hope to turn things around next week against the Cardinals, but it isn't a promising matchup for fantasy purposes.

R.A. Dickey was tagged for five runs over 6 2/3 innings Saturday in a loss to the Orioles.
Advice: Another clunker for Dickey, who entered Saturday's start with three straight outings of two earned runs allowed. The knuckleballer gave up nine hits (including two homers) and three walks in the loss. He now has a disappointing 4.85 ERA for the year and has walked 31 batters in 68 2/3 innings. He didn't issue his 31st walk last season until July 29.

Josh Hamilton launched his seventh home run of the season in a win over the Royals on Saturday.
Advice: Look who is finally showing some signs of life. After batting .202 with two homers over his first 32 games this season, Hamilton has gone deep five times in his last 17 games. The veteran outfielder wasn't a good bet to match his production from Texas to begin with, but he's surely better than he has shown early on.

Orioles placed RHP Pedro Strop on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 24, with a lower back strain.
Advice: The move clears a spot on the 25-man roster for Steve Johnson. Strop has a 6.11 ERA with 14 walks over 17 2/3 innings with the Orioles.

Aroldis Chapman earned his 12th save of the season Saturday in the Reds' 5-2 defeat of the Cubs.
Advice: Chapman also got a save on Friday and has seemingly bounced back from the struggles he experienced earlier this month. The hard-throwing lefty has a 2.74 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 39/10 K/BB ratio in 23 innings this season.

John Danks was solid in his first start back from shoulder surgery Friday, giving up three runs in six-plus innings in a no-decision against the Marlins.
Advice: He reached the 90s a couple of times with his fastball, but mostly sat in the high 80s. Danks was pulled after giving up a leadoff double to Marcell Ozuna in the top of the seventh inning. Ozuna eventually came around to score on a sacrifice fly, which cost Danks a chance at the victory. Still, it was an encouraging outing for the southpaw, as he gave up just four hits and walked nine while striking out five. He has another favorable matchup next week against the Cubs, but most mixed league owners can afford to wait and see for now.

Freddy Garcia yielded three runs (two earned) in five innings Saturday in a win over the Blue Jays.
Advice: All in all, not bad considering how the Blue Jays have been swinging the bats recently. Garcia scattered nine hits while striking out one batter and walking none. The veteran right-hander has a 4.61 ERA and 9/6 K/BB ratio in 27 1/3 innings across his first five starts with Baltimore. While he shouldn't be an option in most fantasy leagues, he's doing fine as a stopgap option in the starting rotation.
