      Advice: Kjerstad's slam came in the fifth inning to give the Orioles a 5-2 lead. It was the first grand slam of his career, and he's now homered in his last two games, both coming against Texas. The 25-year-old prospect has added seven RBI, three runs scored, no stolen bases and a 5:8 BB:K across 33 plate appearances this season. The left-handed-hitting Kjerstad has gotten looks in both corner outfielder spots as well as at designated hitter, and he's poised to compete with Colton Cowser for playing time while Austin Hays is battling knee soreness.       Advice: Kimbrel hadn't walked multiple batters in an outing since May 8, but he was able to pitch his way out of trouble. He's allowed two runs (one earned) while posting a 13:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings in June, converting six of his seven chances this month. Kimbrel is up to 19 saves with a 2.37 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 44:14 K:BB through 30.1 innings overall. Kimbrel has pitched three of the last four days, so he may not be available if a save situation arises Sunday. With Jacob Webb, Yennier Cano and Cionel Perez also having pitched Friday and Saturday, there could be an opportunity for Dillon Tate or Bryan Baker to get a look in a high-leverage spot.       Advice: He gave up a couple of solo home runs, but Povich ended up earning his first career win after Heston Kjerstad put the Orioles ahead with a grand slam in the fifth inning. After allowing six runs in his debut, Povich has given up a total of six runs across his last four outings. He's at a decent 4.05 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 26.2 innings over five starts. The Orioles had discussed going to a six-man rotation before a rough stretch of pitching injuries in June, so it's unclear if Povich will stick around in the majors once Dean Kremer (triceps) returns from the injured list, which could happen next week.       Advice: Alonso's steal was just his second of the year, as speed is rarely a factor in his play.       Advice: Iglesias has functioned mainly in a utility role off the bench lately, but he's had a couple of big games anyway. He's gone 7-for-17 over his last 10 contests despite recording a plate appearance in just seven of those games. Over 43 plate appearances this year, he's batting .425 with seven RBI, six runs scored, one stolen base and four doubles, but the light-hitting infielder has yet to hit a home run.       Advice: Santander hit his 22nd homer of the season with a solo shot off Michael Lorenzen in the second. The 29-year-old outfielder doubled in a run in the seventh to extend the Baltimore lead to 6-4 and also gave Santander 55 RBI on the season.       Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss Saturday to the Orioles.

      Advice: Lowe also doubled. The homer was a two-run shot that got the Rangers back in the game to make it a 5-4 score in the sixth. The 28-year-old has not shown a ton of power thus far in 2024, as his .262 average and .348 on-base percentage have been dragged down by just four roundtrippers and a .369 slugging mark over 214 at-bats.       Heston Kjerstad hit a grand slam to help the Orioles to a 6-5 win over the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: Kjerstad also walked twice, but you don’t wanna hear about that. The rookie outfielder shellacked a Michael Lorenzen offering with the bases loaded to turn a 2-1 Texas lead into a 5-2 Baltimore cushion. The 25-year-old has gone deep twice in his limited time with the Orioles, and 18 times when combined with his outstanding run with Triple-A Norfolk.       Craig Kimbrel walked two, but didn’t give up a run while picking up a save Saturday against the Rangers.

      Advice: Kimbrel walked Leody Taveras to lead off the inning and then gave up a stolen base to the outfielder, and he then got the next two outs.
