    • Swats 11th homer
Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total RBI in Sunday's 10-4 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Chapman's been hot to close out June, going 13-for-37 (.351) with three homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored over his last 10 contests. He hit just .190 over his first 15 games this month. The third baseman is at a .242/.323/.414 slash line with 11 homers, 39 RBI, 55 runs scored and a career-high seven stolen bases through 82 games this year. Chapman's unlikely to continue to hit for average, but he can still make an impact if his power stays up. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:16 pm
    • Homers in loss
Taylor went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Taylor put the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot in the fifth inning and later added an RBI double in the seventh. It was his second long ball of the year, and both have come in his last nine games. Taylor didn't have a multi-hit performance through 41 games to start the year but now has two in his last six contests. He's slashing .164/.256/.255 with five extra-base hits and 12 RBI through 126 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
    • Leads charge Sunday
Malloy went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Angels.

Advice: Malloy's blast in the fourth inning, his third of the season, extended the Detroit lead to 4-0. The rookie has gotten off to a sluggish start in the majors, as he's still batting only .175 with a 38 percent strikeout rate after Sunday. Despite the struggles, Malloy has good power potential, and his prospect pedigree suggests that he'll figure it out at some point. However, fantasy managers may have to remain patient in the short term. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:39 pm
    • Justyn-Henry Malloy homers, Tigers edge Angels
Justyn-Henry Malloy went 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park homer on Sunday, leading the Tigers to a 7-6 win over the Angels.

Advice: Malloy has compiled cringe-inducing numbers this season since getting the call to the majors back in early June, but he made his presence felt in this one with a two-run, inside-the-park homer off Angels southpaw Tyler Anderson in the fourth inning. It was just his third big fly in 23 games so far in the big leagues as he’s also struck out 28 times in 73 plate appearances during that span. The 24-year-old was an on-base machine in the upper minors, but he’s still clearly a work in progress at the highest level. The big question will be how long the Tigers are going to be willing to let him continue to try to figure things out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:07 pm
    • Chris Taylor homers, drives in two runs in loss
Chris Taylor went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBI on Sunday in the Dodgers’ blowout loss to the Giants.

Advice: Taylor was one of the few bright spots for Los Angeles during Sunday’s one-sided smackdown at the hands of San Francisco, delivering one of this better performances of the season just a few hours after Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters he’ll be given a bit of a runway to make it work at third base moving forward. The struggling 33-year-old veteran went deep off Giants starter Spencer Bivens in the fifth inning before adding a run-scoring double a couple frames later. He’s still a long way off from consideration as a fantasy contributor, even in deeper mixed leagues, but a strong few weeks could be enough to keep him on the roster in Los Angeles heading towards the postseason. • Returns to Triple-A
The Brewers optioned Black to Triple-A Nashville following Sunday's 7-1 win over the Cubs, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 23-year-old was called up by Milwaukee on June 19 but totaled just 12 at-bats before being sent back to Triple-A. Black is one of the organization's top prospects but doesn't have a clear path to playing time in the big leagues given who the Brewers currently have available, so he'll go back to the minors to get more consistent playing time. • Not starting Sunday
Ortiz (neck) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Advice: The 25-year-old is out of the lineup for the third straight game due to neck soreness, but his absence is viewed as precautionary. Ortiz's appearance as a pinch runner during Saturday's contest reinforces that sentiment. Andruw Monasterio will receive another start at the hot corner in Sunday's series finale. • Joey Ortiz (neck) remains out Sunday vs. Cubs
Joey Ortiz (neck) is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Cubs.

Advice: Ortiz is dealing with neck stiffness, and the issue caused him to be scratched from Saturday’s lineup and will cause at least one more missed game. The Brewers are calling Ortiz’s absence precautionary, so consider the 25-year-old day-to-day for now. Andruw Monasterio will handle third base while Ortiz recovers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:16 am

    • Three hits, RBI in loss
Chapman went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Chapman doubled in his first at-bat before then getting caught trying to steal second. He then drove home Heliot Ramos with an infield single in the following frame before eventually going on to reach a total of four times in the contest. It marked Chapman's fourth three-hit performance this season and his first since May 18 against the Rockies. The third baseman has also hit safely in six straight games, posting two homers, six RBI and six runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:38 am
