Isaac Paredes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.
Advice: In a rare occurence, Paredes homered to left-center field instead of down the line in left field. The ball left the bat at 100.8 mph and traveled 384 feet. It was the 25-year-old’s sixth home run on the season to go along with 16 RBI. He’s been strong again to start the season, which he’ll need to continue to be since one of the best prospects in baseball, Junior Caminero, plays his position and is just one level away. Still, Paredes will continue to play if he keeps hitting, and there are no indications that last year’s breakout was a fluke.
