      Josh Lowe (oblique) went 2-for-4 with a run scored on Friday for Triple-A Durham.

      Advice: There’s some buzz that Lowe will be ready to return to Tampa Bay early next week, but he’s going to get in at least a couple additional rehab contests this weekend for Triple-A Durham.       Pederson went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Mets.

      Advice: Pederson knocked an RBI single during Arizona's three-run first inning before hammering a three-run shot in the ninth. It was his seventh home run of the year and fifth in his last 20 games. During that stretch, he's slashing .317/.379/.617 with 15 RBI and 24 punchouts.       Marte went 2-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, a run scored and a walk in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Marte ripped a bases-clearing triple in the first inning and followed it up with an RBI single in the fourth. After a 3-for-19 slump over nine games, he closed out May with three straight multi-hit performances.       Chas McCormick fanned all three times he was up Friday versus the Twins.

      Advice: The Astros have decided that José Abreu’s pre-2023 track record matters more than McCormick’s impressive 2023 output and have thus started McCormick just twice in the last six games. We think that’s probably the wrong call, but at the same time, McCormick has not, in any way, resembled the threat he was last year. We still think the Astros should give him a few weeks of regular playing time to see if he can bounce back, but we’re not especially optimistic that he would take advantage of said opportunity.       Adell hit a grand slam as a pinch hitter in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Adell erased a four-run deficit when he checked into the game in the seventh inning, replacing Matt Thaiss. The homer also ended a 1-for-31 dry spell for Adell, who went 11-for-43 (.256) prior to that slump. The outfielder is already at 11 homers on the year while adding 27 RBI, eight stolen bases, 24 runs scored, four doubles and a triple over 162 plate appearances.       Raley (lat) went 1-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Raley missed a game due to lat soreness, but it appears to be a minor issue. Prior to Friday, Raley went 1-for-19 over his previous seven contests while racking up 10 strikeouts in that span. He's been decent in 2024 with a .260/.297/.397 slash line, four home runs, five stolen bases, 12 RBI and 16 runs scored over 138 plate appearances.     • Jo Adell swats grand slam against Mariners
      Jo Adell hit a grand slam in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.

      Advice: You don’t see a ton of pinch-hit grand slams, but Adell was able to get one after coming off the bench and blistering a Tayler Saucedo sweeper into the left-field seats to tie the game at 4-4. The outfielder had been scuffling as of late, but the power didn’t go away.     • Davis Schneider walks it off for Blue Jays
      Davis Schneider went 1-for-6 with a two-run home run to win the game 5-3 for the Blue Jays over the Pirates on Friday.

      Advice: It felt for a moment like this 14-inning marathon would go on forever before Schneider found the right field seats in Toronto. He’s now a fixture at lead-off and one of the few bright spots in what’s otherwise been a bleak season for the Blue Jays.       Joc Pederson went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored in a loss to the Mets on Friday.

      Advice: Pederson’s ninth inning home run off Reed Garrett made this game much hairier than it probably should have been, but still wasn’t enough to fuel the Diamondback’s comeback. He’s had a great season to this point with a .952 OPS and seven home runs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm
