    • Carlos Estévez fans two in perfect ninth
Carlos Estévez struck out two in a perfect ninth for a save Tuesday versus the Orioles.

Advice: Estévez averaged 96.3 mph with his fastball tonight, which is up about two mph from spring training and one mph from Opening Day. He’s still one mph off from last year, but it’s looking like he’ll get there, and with Robert Stephenson out for the season and José Soriano in the rotation, he seems like a much better bet than he did a month ago. • Keeps raking
Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 4-0 win against the Rangers.

Advice: Raleigh tagged Dane Dunning for a two-run shot in the first inning to plate J.P. Crawford, marking the fourth long ball of his last five appearances. During that stretch, Raleigh is batting .474 with nine RBI, five runs scored and three multi-hit games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
    • Puts tally in home run column
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.

Advice: After launching 60 combined homers in his first two MLB seasons, Rodriguez was homerless through 22 games in 2024 before tagging Dane Dunning for a two-run shot Tuesday. Despite his lack of long balls, Rodriguez has been a strong fantasy producer, having racked up five multi-hit games and four stolen bases in his last seven appearances. • Cal Raleigh hits sixth homer in Mariners’ victory
Cal Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: The homer, which came on a very poorly placed 0-2 pitch from Dane Dunning, was Raleigh’s sixth in 80 plate appearances. He doesn’t have any other extra-base hits, but this is still just fine. He’s batting .271/.350/.529. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm
    • Seventh homer, 12th steal in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: De La Cruz has been on a tear, going 7-for-18 with three homers and six steals in his last seven games. The 22-year-old shortstop has looked like a budding star over the first month of the season, slashing .295/.402/.641 with seven homers, 22 runs scored, 17 RBI with a league-leading 12 stolen bases through 23 games. • Elly has HR and SB in win over Phillies
Elly De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a home run and a stolen base in an 8-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It’s been quite the beginning of the season for Elly, who is now slashing .295/.402/.641 with seven home runs and 12 steals. Honestly, the on-base percentage may be the most impressive number. After struggling with his plate discipline last year, the 22-year-old has made incredible strides in 2024 with 13 walks in 23 games. He will likely always run some high strikeout rates, but he is consistently putting himself in a position to do damage with better swing decisions and fantasy managers are reaping the benefits. If the plate discipline remains, there is no reason to think he’s not a first-round fantasy pick. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:41 pm

    • Collects three hits
Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: Cruz hit eighth in the order for the third straight game against a right-handed pitcher as the Pirates seek to get him on track at the plate. He showed some reasons for optimism with his three-hit performance, highlighted by a two-RBI single in the sixth inning that gave the team some insurance runs. Most importantly, Cruz struck out only once after punching out multiple times in seven of his previous 10 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:07 pm

    • Secures sixth save
Kimbrel earned a save against the Angels on Monday, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two batters over one scoreless inning.

Advice: Kimbrel ran into some trouble in attempting to protect Baltimore's two-run ninth inning lead when he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base. A one-out walk -- Kimbrel's first free pass of the campaign -- loaded the bases for Los Angeles, but the veteran closer got Nolan Schanuel to pop out before striking out Mike Trout looking to slam the door closed in dramatic fashion. Kimbrel is now 6-for-7 in save opportunities this season, and he's allowed just one earned run over 10 frames while racking up an impressive 16:1 K:BB. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:52 pm

    • Fans eight in victory Monday
Cease (3-1) earned the win over Colorado on Monday, allowing one run on one hit and no walks while striking out eight batters over seven innings.

Advice: Cease dominated the Rockies' lineup, yielding just one hit -- a fourth-inning Charlie Blackmon leadoff double that Colorado converted into its only run. The veteran hurler has notched a win in each of his past three starts, giving up just two earned runs and five hits while striking out 22 batters over 19 frames during that stretch. Cease's lack of free passes Monday was also a positive development after he had issued multiple walks in each of his first four starts of the campaign, including five in his previous outing. Cease's season ERA now sits at a sterling 1.82, which is tied for 10th in MLB among qualified starters. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:53 pm
